Up until now, for those articles with only a single appearance or reference we have taken to titling the respective sections in the singular format (i.e. "Appearance" and "Reference") whilst any article with at least two entries is titled in the plural, respectively. Whilst this is, on the face of it, perfectly fine and correct, it does open up a level of inconsistency and additional work when new appearances and references are added to the article.
I would like to propose a change in practice: To maintain consistency, going forward, we will use the plural format in all instances. (Also, from a technical and grammatical standpoint, a list of appearances/references can contain only a single entry and be correctly titled in the plural.) What are your thoughts?
