Zagarolo was a small city in Italy, a little east of Rome. In 1504, after the death of Rodrigo Borgia and the imprisonment of his son Cesare, Micheletto Corella set up camp in an old gladiatorial school in Zagarolo with two hundred fifty Borgia diehards. However, the Assassins, led by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Niccolò Machiavelli and La Volpe, mustered a force of 100 thieves and apprentices to break the Borgia-resistance permanently and imprison Micheletto.
