Yakov Yurovsky

Yakov Mikhailovich Yurovsky (19 June 1878 – 2 August 1938) was a Russian revolutionary best known as the chief executioner of Romanov family. He was also a member of Russian Rite of the Templar Order

In July 4, 1918, Yurovsky became the commandant of the Ipatiev House by the decision of the Ural Council. He led the direct execution of the execution of the royal family on the night of July 16 to July 17, 1918.
