Assassin's Creed 2 - Expectations

Although, nothing is true (and everything is permitted) about Assassin's Creed continuation, we can predict some things that may actually appear in the game.

First thing is about the plot. From history I know that Conrad of Montferrat was stabbed to death by two Hashshashin in the streets of Tyre, so I can presume, that this event will be shown in the game. Anyone who finished the game know that Altair met Richard (rendezvous was not ultimate of course) and talked to him. Anyway, there was a suspicion that king's killers (Conrad was about to be a king) had acted by Richard's instruction's. But there is more - Richard died of a crossbow bolt, after the crusade! It is very important, because in the early version of AC there was a crossbow! I can predict there may be such events in the next game. And the second things is co-op. I will remind you - there were TWO assassins in the assassination of Conrad.

But what about the combat? Assassins practiced a fighting style (unarmed combat) called Janna which incorporates striking techniques, grappling and low kicks. So we can predict, that the combat style will evolve. Curious detail: In case of failure, Assassins never committed suicide, preferring to be killed by their captors.

More about the plot: The assassins' mission wasn't always about killing the target, but sometimes other subtle tasks. The assassins used their well-known deadliness for political goals without necessarily killing. For example, a victim, usually high-placed, might one morning find a Hashshashin dagger lying on their pillow upon awakening.

[edit] Attention to Story Plot

Although throughout most of the game you are behind the eyes of Altair, one should keep in mind that the game overall had nothing to do with Altair, but with Desmond. It would be more conceivable that in being synchronized with his ancestor that the game would take place immediately following the last game. There is no reason for Desmond to re-enter the ANIMUS.
