Hey. Welcome to the wiki.
You do know there's no need to edit working redirect pages, right? And Altaïr's page going through a revamp, don't worry about that. -- D. Cello 00:46, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I just can't help but fix the SpecialPages. :P --Silver Mage Ω 01:46, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Silver, I had to add your award medal for improving Mailk's page, and it needed a userbox case, so I added it to your userpage. Maybe it was a little out of my way, since we rather have people (and only people) edit their own userpages, but hope you don't mind. -- D. Cello 17:13, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Harry Potter. You're out of the staff page for more than a month now oO
Din't you see it? -- D. Cello 21:32, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

By any chance.... Edit

... are you the same Silver Mage from FFwiki? :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 07:16, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Yes, of course. :D Though I don't haven't edited there in weeks since I have to take my administrative duties at another wiki. --Silver Mage Ω 07:21, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I haven't edited in there for weeks myself. Or maybe months. anyway, it's nice to find a ffwiki editor here XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 07:26, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Istruttori Edit

heya there! What do you think of joining Istruttori a.k.a rollbacks? =D - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:30, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Why not? --Silver Mage Ω 03:56, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Istruttori GuildEdit

Welcome to the Istruttori.
You now have the honor to use a Istruttore Badge on your profile, just insert {{ist}} on top of the page.
Information about your duties and a list of fellow companions of the team can be acessed at the Istruttori project page. As a Istruttore, you also have acess to the rollback function, which allows you to revert vandalisms or bad-faith edits with one click, on a quickier and pratical way. Safety and peace. -- D. Cello 17:22, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Guys, User:Reqυiem is now a Istruttore. The guy done a great job, completely redone AC2 page in a few days. Assassin's Creed II is now a Featured Article. There are lots of articles who need improvement to featured, mainly Lucy, Desmond, Ezio and Vidic, the series protagonists. So go, Istruttoi, let's get to work. -- D. Cello 20:52, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

Guys, I'll say once again: we need revamp on Giovanni and Lucy page (for starters). You're the upholders of awesomeness in this wiki, let's work on those articles ASAP! -- D. Cello 15:37, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

People, vote. We have nominations going for mre than a week and less than 3 votes in there. As istruttori, as moderators of this wiki, your votes are REQUIRED. So please, access the bloody page, damn it! -- D. Cello 02:26, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Okay Istruttori, you probably realized that I'm putting some real time on making userboxes (it's almost a new useless sunday hobbie), and now you have one too! Just add {{UserIst}} to your userbox gallery. And remeber to check the vote page regularly. -- D. Cello 23:34, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

ChangesEdit

Okay, people. I've completely revamped the Assassin's Creed Wiki:Istruttori pages, and I want *all* of you to get familiar with it. This group is becoming this wiki moderators, and are the first line to adminship when the time comes to expand. As such, I need all of you aware of your duties, and to fully perform then as possible.
I'm also giving this group self-dependancy and authority over itself, what means that me and Silver are going to interfere in it close to zero when you start walking with your own legs. So:

  • From now on, I'm not recruiting members to the Istruttorium. Users will come to one of you and ask to join the group. If you decide they're worthy, you'll make a nomination and the rest of the group will say yay or nay.
  • Any changes in the group will be discussed within yourselves, and I strongly recommend you do so. You must get to know each other and work like a group, something that's lacking and will greatly improve the wiki's quality.
  • Also, focus on improving articles one at a time and keep an eye on already improved ones. We have important articles in not so great quality, and great articles that suffer major revamps that send them to the bottom of worthless article pit in one swing.
  • Also, I plan on a staff meeting via the IRC channel someday soon, we need to arrange timetables since you guys are all around the globe.

As everyone knows, this wiki is an online thing. Each one has it's own life, worries, problems, joys and personal and professional duties. We're here by choice, for entertainament, and love to the game. We; me, you and everyone else; don't do anything here cause they have to, but 'cause they want to, and they choose to.
This community has grown a lot since I took it from ashes and started molding it from scratch, and you guys helped me do it. And even before creating a Staff to administrate the site, even after it was on the way, I could have taken things in my hands like some other wikis do and take decisions myself, but this is a wiki, a community, a group, a brotherhood. We all own it, and we all care for it. There are big changes on horizon, and I need everyone ready. Let's get to it. ;D -- D. Cello 05:17, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Cain Edit

dude are you a mormon? read your cain article, cos i am, and i didnt even pick that up ahaha. --Lamarr23 17:48, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Huh? --Silver Mage Ω 05:00, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Just some notesEdit

Orsi borthersEdit

You can see their name on the wikipedia page of Girolamo Riario.--PhantomT1412 19:04, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Fredrick Edit

Well, he was occasionally called Fredrick in Bloodlines already, and also Frederick. "The Red" is just a nickname.

You can link AC: Bloodlines to AC II's PS3 version and get all weapons from the defeated bosses from Bloodlines. Here, it shows "Fredrick's Hammer". I presume this must be his official name as it also shows Maria's official name in "Maria Thorpe's Longsword".

Images Edit

So... you see, most of the images in this category Category:Altaïr images most of them, if not all, have IGN marks on it. You think we should delete them or what? O.o - SilverSummonerTaLk 09:39, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

I think we should delete all of them since most, if not all, are just linked from one page: Screenshots. That, and they might serve no other purpose to the wiki. In My Humblest Opinion. --Silver Mage Ω 09:41, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Very well, then. I shall delete them all - SilverSummonerTaLk 09:50, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Real life charactersEdit

Honestly, all I can think of is to put them under Templar or Assassins category, just to keep things simple and easy. Perhaps you have better ideas? - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:22, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

lol, no harm done XD. -- Master Sima Yi 14:22, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Good timing Edit

I just finished making this thing and I'd like to know your opinion. :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 12:06, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

Niccolò Machiavelli Edit

Where is it said he is the Assassins' Grand Master? The official ACII DLC page says he is the leader of Florence's mercenaries, nothing more. -- Master Sima Yi 11:01, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Well, again (like in previous wikis i've worked in). I guess I assumed as much, seeing as he's the last one to be shown and that his life was supposed to be full of secrecy. Either way, he is an Assassin. --Silver Mage Ω 01:59, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

No supositions, Mage. Platinum Rule. -- D. Cello 03:07, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

You remind me of ILHI. For some odd reason, that I do not know about, I don't like being called "Mage". --Silver Mage Ω 03:09, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

What's ILHI? oO
All right, Sir knight, What should I call you? o.o And I can't call you Silver, Summy got here first =P -- D. Cello 03:52, February 8, 2010 (UTC) "Informant" I guess. ILHI is a prominent user of FF Wiki who had like 43k edits and was a smartass WikiAngel. --Silver Mage Ω 03:58, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Edit Conflict @Cello: ILHI is a user in Final Fantasy Wiki. He already left the Wiki though. "Smartass" would be an understatement. He's a genius O.o
How bout if we call you SM? - SilverSummonerTaLk 04:00, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Spider-Man... What's a wiki angel? -- D. Cello 04:07, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

SM? XD I don't think he would want to be refered to this. XD -- Master Sima Yi 06:26, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
You're right. I would go for one of my aliases: Xlarcy, Xlarc, Xervialtone or Crux. --Silver Mage Ω 09:10, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
XD lol! XD
@Cello: read this :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 12:21, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Got it...Wiki-Angel...
Sado.. and I didn't tought of that... XD
Too difficult aliases, Silver Mage... Maybe we can hold a vote if no universal nickname can find consensus =P -- D. Cello 02:15, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Oorr... great idea: we call you by random Harry Potter names, since they use magic, and you know, mages use magic. I only know about three, but I'm sure some girl can make us a list to consult ;D -- D. Cello 02:17, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Portals Edit

Hey, I have a few ideas I'd like to bounce off of the staff. Can you check out my post in the forums -- Forum:Portals. --Reqυiem 21:45, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Bof and BotVEdit

I beg to differ, each represents what could be considered a significant event in the timeline of the Assassin's Creed series, and as such i feel that a separate article is needed for each. Personally, I think we should have articles detailing Altair's search for the nine, the Pazzi conspiracy and other such events as well, although there is barely enough information to warrant separating those articles from the Altair and Ezio articles respectively. User:Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 07:38, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

No no, we wouldn't need to separate the memory sequences for AC, an article about the hunt for the Nine could cover all the memory sequences amicably. It just seems to me that, for example, Assassin's Creed covers two different stories; the story of Altair's redemption, and the tale of the nine deaths; each of which deserves it own article (Altair of course, already has one).
Given time, and enough information, I will have created articles for the Pazzi conspiracy depicted in early ACII to compliment the BoF and BotV articles. I don't see how it makes it harder for people to navigate though; I would assume that the average user who typed in "Bonfire of the Vanities" was looking for information the event in-game, not a price listing and contents. Plus, as a final addition, I've noticed that we have an article entitled "Secret Locations", and in that we link to the Basilica di San Marco, the Basilica Santa Maria del Fiore etc separately; so I see it as a precedent having already been set for separating event from game mechanic. User:Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:04, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Proposed attribution policyEdit

Hello there Silver Mage, I recently took the time to create a Watercooler forum post detailing my proposed attribution policy, which I hope the wiki will be willing to adopt by this time next week. If you could be so kind as to look over the policy and cast your vote (or comment on any changes) you can do so by following this link; Forum:Sourcing articles. Also, would you kindly pass on this post too as many users as possible, so that the vote might represent the true number of contributors to the wiki. Thank you. User:Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 15:33, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Mage, it seems you're online right now. Can you meet me at the IRC channel asap, please? -- D. Cello 01:38, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
