Re:9/11 Edit

Oh, yeah, you're right. Sorry about that, I knew that was the date Allende was deposed, but I also thought that was a reference to the 9/11 Attacks. Although, there's also a part where the female voice is naming dates where something bad (sometimes, confirmed to be orchestrated by the Templars) occured, (i.e, 1431 - execution of Joan of Arc; 1939 - beginning of WW2, etc...), and 2001 is named. AllianceScoutAiothai (talk) 10:45, August 6, 2015 (UTC)

True, but it's speculative to say that the Templars orchestrated it, as it's not outright stated. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 12:39, August 6, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I understand. AllianceScoutAiothai (talk) 22:21, August 6, 2015 (UTC)

Creator of the Creed's MaximEdit

I've never read the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia so I don't if this is true, but did Hassan I Sabbah coin the phrase "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted" Abelzorus Prime (talk) 19:58, August 6, 2015 (UTC)

It's not in the Encyclopedia, but he was the real person who coined the term so there's no need to assume different. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 12:04, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Are you sure? Isn't that just something stated in the novel Alamut and by Friedrich Nietzsche?--Bovkaffe (talk) 13:19, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it's from the novel. However, Patrice Désilets' inspiration for Assassin's Creed came from reading Alamut. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 13:22, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

So it's safe to assume Hassan I Sabbah came up with the Assassins' Creed. Abelzorus Prime (talk) 13:45, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

You can accept it as true yes, but there's no AC-related source for it. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 13:49, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Anyway the main reason I started this convo was because it's on the Creed page, so it might be better if that info is removed. Abelzorus Prime (talk) 13:53, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Rouille Edit

Since you tend to know these things, could you tell me what Rouille's interrogation in The Jacobin Club was about? He receives the location Luxembourg Palace from the prisoner, before telling Germain that King Louis has been plotting against the revolution.--Bovkaffe (talk) 19:19, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

I'm afraid I have no clue either. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 19:59, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Theories Edit

Explanation About Genetics And Theory
Hi, Master!

I've been working on this image for some time now, and i want to know what you think about it, or if you have any suggestion/correction. Oh, and sorry if i had any gramma mistake.

Just that, greetings! DipsonDP (talk) 23:47, August 12, 2015 (UTC)

Well I would like to add to this that Desmond and Clay are only stated to be descendants of Adam, not Eve, and that Galina is stated nowhere to be a descendant of Eve (if her mother was talking to Eve than she wouldn't have been reliving her memories. This is not factual). There's a reason I dropped biology though. I'm not quite sure I understand it anyway, only a person with a full line of males from you to Adam and Eve has a part of their DNA? So someone with no female ancestors in their bloodline? If Adam or Eve is your descendant, you carry part of their DNA with you. What makes Desmond so special, is that he has a lot of ancestors with high concentrations of Precursor DNA, resulting in Desmond having a significantly higher concentration than your average human. We know nothing about Galina's potential Precursor lineage, so I find it hard to comment on that. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 08:34, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

The Female's DNA is ALWAYS passed, no matter if is the descendant is a boy or a girl, the "X" is always present, and everyone who descends from Eve, has her DNA, Including Clay and Desmond. The thing about the male's DNA is that the "Y" is only passed down when the child (Abel or Seth) is a male, because women's chromosomes are 100% provided by the mother. So, to get the "Y" passed down, a full chain of males is necesary. That's why we can't play as a female in Desmond's genetic tree. And that does not means that Desmond's ancestors could not have daughter, if there is a son before or after, it does not matter. Example: Marcello and Flavia. Jennifer and Haytham. What made Desmond and Clay special was that they had Adam's DNA, not just Eve's one like everyone who descends from them... but not only Adam and Eve, as you mentioned, Clay and Desmond had a lot of ancestor with high concentratioN of Precursor DNA, Adam was just "One more to the list" DipsonDP (talk) 21:17, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

"Each person normally has one pair of sex chromosomes in each cell. Females have two X chromosomes, whereas males have one X and one Y chromosome. Both males and females retain one of their mother's X chromosomes, and females retain their second X chromosome from their father. Since the father retains his X chromosome from his mother, a human female has one X chromosome from her paternal grandmother (father's side), and one X chromosome from her mother."
Source: Wikipedia. Crook The Constantine District 21:28, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

See Subject 1 and his reliving of the memories of his ancestor Aveline. Also, again, neither Desmond or Clay is stated to be Eve's descendant, ever. Explicitly only Adam. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 21:26, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

But Subject 1 does not descends from Adam, and if he did, he would not have his DNA. Desmond could had relived the memories of a woman in his Family Tree, but that woman would't have Adam's DNA. And we dont need an statement, the "X" is always passes, like i said, everyone who descends from Adam and Eve, have, at least, Eve's DNA. DipsonDP (talk) 21:41, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

Mate I really don't know what you're on about anymore, sorry. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 21:46, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

When i investigated this, it took me a while to get it too, no worries. DipsonDP (talk) 21:51, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

I think the basic gist of this is that for someone to relive Adam's memories, they would need to come from a bloodline with a chain of male descendants that leads directly to him. If at any point in the bloodline where the chain of male descendants is broken by only females being born, that last male in the chain is the one that Adam's genetic memories are accessible from, as a woman being born in that chain would bring their paternal grandmother's X chromosome to take the place of the Y-chromosomal Adam gene (the Y gene that traces back to Adam). Never Ending Edit

Hi i have only a simple request and that is for balck flag to never stop. We have internet so keep the content comming, expand the map and items and ships. Make it something like No man's sky where we can explore and and craft and let the AI fight back to gain thier FORTS. I like trading and let other player's come on to my map and attack me or one of my Forts's then i can defend it. Please don't stop this Pirate game i love it and i will pay for every dlc you make. 06:21, August 31, 2015 (UTC)Chili197.81.147.201 06:21, August 31, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, but we don't create the games, we just chronicle the information in them. Ubisoft are the ones who make the Assassin's Creed series, and with their release schedule, I don't think they'd consider expanding a previous game after a year. Slate Vesper (talk) 11:03, August 31, 2015 (UTC)

 Unification's partnership between wikis Edit

Hello, Master Sima Yi! I am TheCreedX, bureaucrat of Assassin's Creed BR Wiki (, and I wonder if you would like to make a unification's partnership allowing us to use your wiki design and other things.

We could discuss better about this partnership in particular, if you want. I and all administrators of Assassin's Creed BR Wiki are interested in partnering with your wiki and I think it would benefit both parties. The Brazilian community of Assassin's Creed is a huge community and we think we can reach a higher level.

We have significant influence capacity and we may disclose your wiki if you want.

And we will credit all is the Assassin's Creed Wiki English, of course.

I'll be waiting for your reply!

Bureau position Edit

Hey Sima, long time no talk, so let me get straight to it.

I'd like to step down as a Staff member of the Wiki, as I've become distracted by other games, and I haven't been putting the time into the Wiki as should be expected of my position. I feel it wouldn't be fair to withhold the opportunity from one of the more active members of the wiki, and to be fair, the drive to come back isn't as stong as it used to be.

I'll still come and edit every so often, but it might not be a frequent occurrence. Therefore, if I'm to nominate anyone to take my place, I'd have to recommend that Crook and Bovkaffe be treated equally as deserving of the position. This aside, I'd like to thank you, Nesty and all of the other editors here for their hard work and their consideration and co-operation in helping maintain this place both during my time here and in my absence as well.

Revamp Edit

Are you still working on the Templars revamp? I'm asking because you removed the revamp template from the article.--Bovkaffe (talk) 15:11, September 18, 2015 (UTC)

Yes (though I don't have much time for it lately), but I figured I might as well remove that eyesore template because people are free the edit the current version of the article. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 15:14, September 18, 2015 (UTC)

  • In fact it takes place on two days. The date can be seen on Charlotte's computer, while she is working at the bank. There is still an error because it says "last logged in on Wednesday, September 15 2015" but if you check the calendar the 15 September was a Tuesday. ^^

15 September: plays the Helix Far West simulation in the morning, go to an interview for a new job, go to work at the bank, come back home in the evening to find Assassins in her appartement, recruited and attacked by Templars, jump through the window to reach a nearby roof but get knocked out in the process.

16 September: wake up in the Salton Sea hideout during the day, formally meet the team and is introduced to the mission, put in the regular Animus to relieve Stoddard's memories and find an artefact hidden in Salem. Maxattac (talk) 23:07, October 15, 2015 (UTC)

Instruments of the First Will icon. Edit

Hi, Master Sima Yi, I may have jumped the gun. I was half-way through adding an icon to the eraicon template when I realized I didn't consult with anyone. So, here goes: Should we have an era-icon for the Instruments of the First Will? As seen in the recent uploads I kinda already made an icon and uploaded it. Reasons for the icon: The instruments seem way more important than the Hermeticists and we have an icon for them, and moving forward there seems that there could be even more Instruments. So yeah. -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 03:24, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

I don't see the harm, sure. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 07:49, November 2, 2015 (UTC)

So...  I'm not really sure how to go about this.  I made several videos of all of the Reconstructed Data from AC: Syndicate at the request of a redditor, and then went on to transcribe all of them into plain text.  Is this something that you all would be interested in having posted here?  It's about 44,000 characters (~7800 words), so I didn't want to just dump it on the wiki without asking.  Please let me know, either here or via reddit message (/u/PyroKep).

Thanks! 00:33, November 7, 2015 (UTC) Pyro

Rite of the Template OrderEdit

Howdy. Is there a reason why the AC novels don't have their own navigation templates as with the games and comics (and teh movie)? Vetinari(Appointment) 06:05, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

I think mostly because the novels (particularly the older ones) were just novelizations of the games so it'd be repetition of info. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 17:20, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

Fair enough but the majority of Underworld is its own thing. Vetinari(Appointment) 21:38, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

I know. I was just giving you the reason why none of them have one. I don't think anyone will object to a navbox for Underworld being created, so do feel free if you want to. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 11:51, November 18, 2015 (UTC)

Staff positionEdit

Hey, Sima. It's been quite a while, so I hope all is well. I've been mulling over how to word this for a few days now, but I've decided it'd be best to just come out with it.

I'd like to surrender my position on the staff board. My reasoning for this is that I've taken up quite a few other interests that keep my attention away from here, and my priorities have definitely shifted significantly. I haven't been devoting nearly as much time as should be expected of someone in my position, and it wouldn't be right to keep such a position since there are people more deserving who could easily take my place. My urge to edit here is much weaker than it once was, and I don't even feel the urge to play many of the games anymore. I've been infrequent in visiting for almost a year now, and that is a bad image for a staff member to send.

Perhaps I'll continue to edit, but if I do, it will likely be very infrequent. As I said, my priorities have shifted. If there is one thing I say before I go, it is that I think Bovkaffe is definitely deserving of replacing me. He has accomplished a great deal in the time he's been here - more than I ever did. I have immense respect for him, and I firmly believe that he would be a perfect addition to the staff.

I wish you and everyone else the very best in the future, and I am confident that you will all continue to keep this place in great shape. It's been a good three and a half years, but it's time for me to move on. Take care. --Crimson Knight Comms 18:00, December 3, 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Who do u think is the most skilled assassin protagonist? And in case ur wondering who I mean, there's Ezio Auditore, Altaïr, Edward Kenway, Ratonhnhaké:ton, Haytham Kenway, and Desmond Miles.

I actually made my own list, and I would love to hear ur opinions, since ur #1:

1. Ezio Auditore da Firenze; Ratonhnhaké:ton

2. Edward Kenway

3. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad

4. Haytham Kenway

5. Desmond Miles

Hi Master Sima,
Looking at the Soundtrack page, I see that DLCs such as Dead Kings and Jack the Ripper, for example, have no pages, even though the tracks are listed here and here, respectively. Do I add the DLC music pages? I couldn't seem to find a page saying otherwise, but I thought I should ask.
Cheers, Darman36 (talk) 19:26, December 29, 2015 (UTC)

Neither URL works, but if you are certain the tracks listed are 100% accurate, I am not opposed to creating pages. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 20:01, December 29, 2015 (UTC)
Hmm. Sorry about that, links work on my end. Try looking up the appropriate titles in "". Should work. Anyway, thanks, will work on now! Edit: How do you want the names? Like "...Creed: [main Game]: [DLC name]" or "...Creed: [Main Game] – [DLC]" Darman36 (talk)

The former is more preferable. Are these officially released soundtracks? -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 18:22, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

They're real, though I think they were released as digital downloads. Here's Freedom Cry, Dead Kings, & Jack the Ripper. Blast, now I have to rename the pages; I used the 2d format (see Soundtrack). Sorry.
Edit: Links moved. Since I'm at this, should ToKW music have its own page instead of being added here? --Darman36 (talk) 14:58, January 3, 2016 (UTC)

Charles LeeEdit

I have a question about Charles Lee. Being an admin, you probably know more about the series than I do. When was Charles Lee a member of the British Rite? I saw that he was included as a member, but as far as I know he was only an ally of the British Rite, and then an ally of the Colonial Rite, and then a member of the Colonial Rite. Just wondering if I missed something.Hugues de Payens (talk) 16:26, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

His name was on a list of British Templars in Syndicate hence why we list him as such as well. Possible explanations for that could be that when he was abducted into the Templar Order by Haytham it was only yet in his capacity as a member of the British Rite, and that the Colonial Rite wasn't yet 'officially' established until sometime later. Or, at that time when those colonies were still part of the British Empire, Colonial Templars were also seen as British Templars. I don't know what the writers' intention was with that exactly. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 17:18, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

I did notice that the list was simply titled British Templars, it did not specify the British Rite. I know Lee is a British Templar, in that he is both British and a Templar. So to me he was a British Templar, however he wasn’t a member of the British Rite. I also had the same kind of question about Maria Thorpe. She was a British Assassin, but I don’t remember her being part of the British Brotherhood. So again, to me she was a British Assassin, but she was not a member of the British Brotherhood (unless I missed something). I think those lists were just a list of people that they traced their DNA back to England, as they don’t specify the British Brotherhood/Rite. But I guess you’re right, we don’t know what the writers were thinking.Hugues de Payens (talk) 17:32, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed Recollection Missions Edit

I saw what you wrote on the Assassin's Creed Recollection/mission page two years ago, and I think I may have finally found the solution! The Italian Assassin's Creed wiki appears to have the complete list of missions. All we need to do is translate what is on that page into English and place it here. Sadly, I cannot speak Italian. Do you know anyone who does? If there are any Italian speaking users on this wiki, they should be able to do it. Toolen (talk) 22:11, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

Hello Toolen. I don't think we have any Italian speaking users here, but of course translating to English doesn't mean it'll be exactly the same as the texts released in the English version of the game. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 18:55, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

Assassins article revision Edit

Hey Sima Yi :), I am currently working on a revision on the "Assassins" article, and Crookandcharlatan mentioned that you had already been working on a revamp, so I wanted to check in with you to see if anything would conflict, if you're still working on it, or whether it is alright for me to resume my revision. Bonus TracksEdit

Master Sima,
In the Trivia section for the AC2 soundtrack, it’s mentioned that Jesper posted 4 unreleased tracks on his Facebook page. However, all the pages that mention unreleased AC2 music don't bring up anything, at least on my end. While this site lists what I presume to be the missing tracks, the source no longer links to the post in question. What do I do? Darman (talk) 14:45, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Mention that Jesper published unreleased tracks from AC2 but that they're no longer available since then? We could also try reaching out to him. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 17:14, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Well, I can find the tracks on YouTube, so they're available, but (1) not from the original source, and (2) the video lengths vary, so I don't know which is the actual track that he posted. I think attempting to contact him would be a good idea. Could "you" (pl.) do that, please? Thanks. Darman (talk) 19:04, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

I could try to contact him somewhere this week. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 19:25, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry to revive this after so long, considering the Navbox thread is still open, but you never got back to me on this. Granted, I almost forgot as well, but we got busy. Anyway, was contact with Jesper regarding the unreleased tracks successful? --Darman (talk) 15:45, May 10, 2016 (UTC)

Houdini? Edit

Kinda did, sorry Simi. I will try to be active now that i'm back home. --70px-SigN1v.png (30px-SigT1v.png35px-SigG1v.png) 05:08, February 20, 2016 (UTC)

No worries if you're not active but just let us know you didn't die or something. :P -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 08:28, February 20, 2016 (UTC)

Ubisoft Edit

I'm an ex ubisoft employee, before they laid me off over disagreements, I'm telling you it's feburary 25th that the dlc is released, your impudent behavior is quite uncalled for anyway, I know how it went down, you laughed to yourself thinking you're all high and mighty, going to get me good by deleting what I've posted because you thought that you'd impress whoever.

I guarentee you it comes out that day, my contract expired from those fucks when they fired me. Not sure about the other dlc but they plan to release it to all consoles. So go ahead and laugh to yourself, I'll be laughing when it's released on the 25th and you're kissing my feet wanting more info.

You should consider who you treat badly, it could be someone that has sweet intel, then again, you'd only treat people kindly in hopes you'd get something out of it, eh?

Anyways, feb 25th. Enjoy, the content. I helped with this mama. Oh and apologies are fine on the 25th

Just to be clear it's The last Maharaja mission pack. Cheers.

Rummy00 (talk) 07:58, February 21, 2016 (UTC)

Undoing an edit you did not back up with any valid source and thus made in violation of our sourcing policy is not "treating you badly", it's you treating the wiki badly. Ubisoft has confirmed it's not coming out until after the stream. I can also quite frankly based on your previous edits here that you're an obvious troll and most certainly not a Ubisoft employee. Even for a 'Ubisoft employee' this is no way to behave on a community-based website and me undoing an edit you made without adhering to wiki rules does not warrant this kind of disrespectful behaviour. For that, I'm giving you a ban, which I already should have given for your previous edits. You can thank me for cutting you slack before. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 08:05, February 21, 2016 (UTC)

Page DeletionEdit

Master Sima,
Thought I'd notify you of a page I thought should be deleted, as the Wiki is not meant for game walkthroughs. I don't mean to say you Admins are unobservant for not getting to it, but different time-zones determine what "Recent Changes" are seen. I'd put the {{Delete}} template up myself, but the Staff page says only Admins can delete stuff, and since I'm new here, I didn't want to potentially overstep my editing powers, such as they are.
Cheers, Darman (talk) 02:58, February 24, 2016 (UTC)

Moving "Temple of the Sand" Edit

There is an article to a memory in Altaïr's Chronicles named Temple of Sand. The article on the subject itself was named Temple of the Sand. This is incorrect as the name for that location is given in the above memory and in the map (and in all other cases known as the "Desert Temple"). I believe that the user that created the page might've found that the page "Temple of Sand" already existing and to resolve the conflict hastily decided to modify the name. I have just moved Temple of Sand to "Temple of Sand (memory)" to make way to move "Temple of the Sand" to the proper name, but the system does not allow me to move "Temple of the Sand" because apparently the title "Temple of Sand" is already a page that redirects to "Temple of Sand (memory)" something I'm rather confused by. I'm guessing to fix this, I would move all content from "Temple of the Sand" to the page currently serving as a redirect ("Temple of Sand"), and then have "Temple of the Sand" redirect to "Temple of Sand." But, since I feel like I've already messed up, I wanted to double-check with you. Sol Pacificus (talk) 20:16, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

When you moved the page "Temple of Sand" to "Temple of Sand (memory)" you left the option "Leave a redirect behind" checked. I'll delete it. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 20:24, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

Thank you very much. When I moved "Temple of the Sand" to "Temple of Sand" just now though, I didn't see any option concerning whether to leave a redirect link behind or not, only whether to follow the page. Sol Pacificus (talk) 21:22, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

Non-WP linksEdit

Master Sima, it's Darman. I'm working on Alonzo Batilla's treasures, and a large number of the artifacts have real-life counterparts e.g. here's the mask, and here's the knife, &c. Do I put the artifacts links in the image caption, or as a source/<ref>? --Darman (talk) 16:12, March 16, 2016 (UTC)

Uhm, I don't think they can really function as a source. Image caption seems preferable. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 20:56, March 17, 2016 (UTC)

Master Sima, it's Dar. We talked on IRC about the subtitles for the AC4 AE files. As per your advice, I did a test transcript for the "Devils of the Caribbean". I think it looks good here, but that's my opinion. What are your thoughts? --Darman (talk) 12:15, March 22, 2016 (UTC)

I'm still not entirely sold on the asterisk use, nor do I see the point in mentioning "Narrator" when it's just one person speaking. On the other hand, when there is more than one person speaking not using either would become an issue. But yes, aside from that it looks quite alright. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 16:03, March 22, 2016 (UTC)

Ah, sorry about that. I meant "Voiceover" (I styled it after the Project Legacy Intro videos), but I see your point; will correct in future. Aside from removing the bullet, can I continue this with the other files?
EDIT: Do I use [colon, bullet] for when there's dialogue for 2+ people? The scripts for Subjects 0 & 1 are really long, over 2 pgs. --Darman (talk) 23:38, March 22, 2016 (UTC)

I think using bullets will be required in order to make dialogue between multiple people look good, so yes, use bullets there. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 14:51, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Stepping down Edit

This has been coming for a while now. More so after I left to avoid India spoilers. I thought I was just in another slump, but I feel it's lasting longer than it should. I've lost the "spark" that once drove me to edit. As such, I feel I should be removed from Staff. I'll still be around, just not quite as often. And if you guys need me for a chat on the IRC, you can still shoot me a message. Thank you for giving me this opportunity all those months back.

I'd also like to be removed from the social media site. I'm glad Crook was brought on board; he's been doing an amazing job. I'm not sure what this means for my position on the Fanon wiki; I'll leave that up to you. In case my absence becomes permanent, via alien abduction or similar scenario, I wish you guys and gals all the best. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 01:26, March 29, 2016 (UTC)

Nav boxEdit

Thought I'd ask you since you created the boxes: why are the Templar_nav and Assassins_nav templates still here? Few pages link to either, and as you said on the Templar_nav talk pg, they're not really used anywhere. Should they be unlinked from the pages? Removed/deleted might be too far, but they're just sitting there... --Darman (talk) 01:20, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

Well I wouldn't really be opposed to using them personally, don't really see much wrong with them but they could be a little more expansive. Or do you disagree? -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 16:37, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

No, I think expansion is great. I was wondering if you had plans for them (not that I was going to do anything), since they're just kind of "there". I think the only downside to expanding is that the Allies & Puppets section could get very crowded. Oh, and currently, the names in the sections of both boxes seem to mush together. Could a line seperator-thingy be added to make the section distinction clearer? Darman (talk) 23:37, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

I think like in other navboxes only the most relevant names ought to be mentioned in there. And yes, that is surely possible. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 14:52, April 7, 2016 (UTC)

OK. I was thinking of a separator thingy like the kind used in the game nav boxes, the white line (or something similar). Would the box go above or below the game boxes at the end of a page? I think above? Darman (talk) 01:40, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

My preference would also go to above. And yes, I knew what you meant, which is appropriate. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 14:07, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

The nav boxes may not have to edited as much as I thought. Did some wiki digging in "Templates" & "NavBoxes" & turns out you made early drafts with the separators here. Would the drafts be merged with the final versions? Also, can I add the separators myself? I think I know the code needed, and I'll use "Preview" before publishing so it doesn't look a mess. --Darman (talk) 12:34, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply. Of course, you may go ahead. Don't need to ask my permission to make an edit on a public page. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 07:54, May 7, 2016 (UTC)

I'd asked because it was your project at some time, and now I'm adopting it. I take it we add it to the respective Assassin/Templar "Notable Members" profiles, but do we add it to all the pages listed in the subsections? --Darman (talk) 00:08, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

What do you mean by subsections? Add it to every page in the Assassins and Templars category? I think that would be the most sensible. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 10:37, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

I mean: Obviously, we add the navbars to "Notable Members" of each Order, and I'm assuming it'd be added to the pages in "Affiliated Groups", "Ranks", & "Other", but do we add it to all the people listed in "Puppets & Allies"? Some may interpret it as Person X was an Assassin/Templar... --Darman (talk) 01:56, May 9, 2016 (UTC)

Fair point, though I don't think we should make it into a really big deal. Anyway who takes a closer look at the template will see why it is included. Matter of fact, anyone who's taken a closer look at the article will understand. Let's not assume people will skim over the entire article to find information, and just take a look at what navboxes are featured without taking a look at the navbox's content to obtain information. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 15:28, May 15, 2016 (UTC)

Branches Edit

I didn't think that the old branches still exist. I mean, there are Cells with leaders, but they are not specifically tied up to some country, like Desmond's one, what are they? Italian, American, Worldwide? Cells' locations come and go, as you can see that a Cell in France (The one established by Eric Cooper) disappeared after the attack to Abstergo's Phoenix Project Lab (In Bishop's cells map, at the beginning of Syndicate). It would appear that they just moved to London, which makes me think that branches no longer exists. Half of Japan's one moved to China, Georgia's moved to Russia.

So... What do you think? DipsonDP (talk) 21:39, July 29, 2016 (UTC)

Whether or not the branches still exist in the modern day isn't relevant to the categories' existence. I created the categories to contain all members of the specific branches, not as a category that just blends characters' nationalities and affiliations into one regardless of whether they belong to said branch. That is also what the category descriptions specifically note. But I already undid my edit because the beginning of Syndicate labels Shaun a member of the British Assassins. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 21:45, July 29, 2016 (UTC)

Petition idea for Hungarian fans!Edit

Good day to you Mentore!

My name is Attila and I am the hungarian Assassin's Creed Wikia Administrator! I came here and wrote this message because i have an idea, but i need the "manpower" to do it.

So, i spoke with one of our national company (who translated the series books) called FUMAX, and they gave me some information about the Assassin's Creed comic. They had said they tried to get some copies from Assassin's Creed: Awakening, but after a relatively long time they had abandoned it because the Ubisoft is "suffer" lack of interest.

What do you think about it? This is good idea to make a petition?

Please write your thoughts about it! I think this deserve a try!

This is the situation! Please help our community!

Have a good day!

                                   Yours faithfully, Attila!

(P.S.: Sorry for grammatical mistakes! If you find one write down there in the correct form!)

Hello! This sounds like something that would be worth a shot, but what is it you want me to do? -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 09:37, August 26, 2016 (UTC)

To write this idea "officially" to gather some signer and i make the rest of it: make the petition website and the other things! If i finished this i will contact with you. Have a good day! -- 18:58, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Hello! I just speak with our company, FUMAX and they said in the past they tried with petition, and nearly 20000 people sign it but the Ubisoft does not show a sign or answer it. So, the plan is over. Have a good day. -- 12:06, August 29, 2016 (UTC)

Expanding Character Articles Edit

Hey, Master Sima Yi, I had been working through many articles concerning Altaïr's Chronicles, revising many as I went, and expanding on the articles of many characters. Most of them were of very low quality or at times incomplete, but when I at last struck upon Adha, which is complete, I wasn't sure if I should expand on it. I noticed that a lot of articles for major characters summarize more than I have been doing with the articles of minor characters. I wasn't sure if there was a specific standard for the conciseness of character articles. With articles of minor characters, I felt free to be as detailed and comprehensive as possible since I did not wish to leave them as stubs, but I am not sure if our policy is the case with major characters whose articles are not at the threat of being stubs. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 22:46, September 24, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply, life has been pretty hectic. I'm personally not too fond of detailing every single movement a character did but to just tell a story understandably without flooding a paragraph with too many pointless details. Expanding is fine, but when all about a character is said then that's that. The article doesn't need to be elongated to meet some specific standard if everything is already said. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 13:39, October 11, 2016 (UTC)

Thank you, I think that's a very reasonable stance. :) Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 08:17, October 12, 2016 (UTC)
