|Assassin's Creed III is the sequel to Assassin's Creed: Revelations. It is the fifth title in the series. This game will finish up the saga of Desmond Miles. The game is set to take place between 1753 and 1783, and will focus on a new ancestor, Connor Kenway, who fought during the American Revolution.|

|ACIII will have the largest playable area in the series. Players will play over one-third of their quests in The Frontier. However, they will also be visiting areas such as Boston and New York. For this reason a fast-travel element has been implemented
Combat has also been re-vamped this year. As players now have the ability to dual wield weapons. Stealth has also been completely overhauled with new features, such as "double-counters," "multiple takedowns," and chain kills.

|This game introduces the Animus 3.0. Desmond will use this device to relive significant events. The Animus 3.0 has one-hundred percent synchronization. The more synchronized Desmond become, the more the sync bar is filled, which can also be increased through replaying missions.|
|Little is known about the multiplayer aspects of this game. However, what is known is that there are at least two different modes - Wolf Pack and Domination. In Wolf Pack, two to four players work together to kill NPC's who possess 25 sequences. In Domination, Abstergo recruits will need to capture areas of the virtual map they are on, before protecting them from the opposite team
Thirteen different animi avatars have been confirmed including - Black Bird, Carpenter, Commander, Huntsman, Independent, Lady Maverick,, Mountebank, Night Stalker, Pioneer, Preacher, Redcoat, Robber, and Sharpshooter.

|Assassin's Creed III: Liberation is in many ways a "companion" piece to Assassin's Creed III. The Vita - only release is set to release on October 30, 2012. The game is set between 1765 and 1780, and primarily features Aveline de Grandpré, a female French-African Assassin around the end of the French and Indian War. It will also be set in and around New Orleans and the Louisiana Bayou.|
