As you might know, Far Cry 3 is a FPS made by Ubisoft Montreal. The game has many references to Assassin's Creed, but so it does to other videogames and movies.
However, the most interesing thing about it is that, analyzed from the proper point of view, Far Cry 3 can belong to the Assassin's Creed Universe. It's main reason: The Silver Dragon Dagger.
- The Silver Dragon Dagger is a "Sword of Eden". The reason is the fact that through centuries, many people have searched for the dagger: The Chinese General Zheng He (as it was stolen from him by Lin Cong), the Japanese Empire during WWII (under the cover of "defending Rook Islands from the Americans"), Abstergo Industries, Citra, leader of the Rakyat, native people of the islands; Vaas' Pirates, Buck Huges (one of the main antagonists) and Jason Brody (the main character). The Rakyat believe who weilds the dagger will be the perfect warrior, and everyone would kneel to its owner.
- To find the dagger, Jason Brody builds the parts of an ancient compass which only leads to the other parts of the compass and the dagger itself. So, the Compass would be an Artifact that leads to the Dagger.
- The games takes place on 2012, the same year as the rest of Assassin's Creed games.
- Jason can access to some bunkers through DLCs. One of the DLCs allows the player to access a WWII era Japanese bunker which contains Abstergo Industries research laboratories, meaning they were looking for the dagger or just Pieces of Eden.
