This is just a brief blog posting to let you all know that Wikia is having a vote on the best wikis of 2011. Some good wikis are towards the top of the voting, but, because our wiki is the most awesome, I nominated our wiki for this voting. Currently, while writing this blog, we are situated at #37 on this vote, after some users on the IRC voted for us.
I'm not demanding you vote for our wiki or anything, I'm merely stating that if you enjoy this wiki as much as myself and some of the others do who have already voted, please consider voting for us. Voting for us would not do anything bad or have some personal gain for myself or anyone else; rather, it would promote our wiki as a whole and bring us some new editors and readers, whic…Read more >
Tonight, I spent some time looking at the track list for Revelations, and I believe I have a good idea of the chronological order of the plotline.
The plot for Ezio Auditore da Firenze begins with him invading Masyaf, as we saw in the E3 preview for the memory, "The Wounded Eagle." In this memory, Ezio heads to Masyaf to acquire one of the Keys of Altaïr from Leandros. During this first attempt, it seems Ezio is captured by the Byzantine Templars, but manages to escape.

While on the IRC earlier, myself and a bunch of other users were discussing ACIII, which lead me to speculate about its release date. ACIII has been in development for years, and so I'm calling it right now, the ACIII release date will be November 13, 2012.
A release in 2012 would add a great effect and improve sales since it is, well, the current year in Modern Times throughout the AC series. I think Ubisoft will realize this as well, and most likely release it sometime in 2012 as Sima and I both agreed.
I got the November 13th date from the classic AC release date of the second Tuesday in November. It's just speculation, but seeing an ACIII 2012 release would be very interesting and lucrative for Ubisoft.
But now, I want to know your though…Read more >
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was released in November 2010, and so far the only DLC we've gotten is the Da Vinci Disappearance which came out in the middle of March of this year. In the predecessor to AC: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed II, two DLC packs were released.
The first AC 2 DLC pack, the Battle of Forli was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 28, 2010. Then just a few weeks later, the second DLC pack named the Bonfire of the Vanities was released on PS3 and the Xbox 360 on February 18, 2010.
Although the original Assassin's Creed had no DLC, Assassin's Creed II had two different packs both released within a month of each other. In Brotherhood we've had a lot of patches and updates that include new maps, but the Da Vinci Disappeara…Read more >
