Today, a user on NeoGaf claimed to have the July issue of GameInformer which has details on the PlayStation Vita game, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Alongside a screenshot, it revealed that players will take up the role of Aveline, a French black female Assassin during the French and Indian War! Ubisoft gave a "no comment" when asked about the article, which basically means "we can't say anything about it but we won't say it's fake either because it isn't," and we all know how well GameInformer handles their secrets... The game will be set in New Orleans, but will also explore settings along the Gulf into Mexico, and span from 1765 to 1780.
Are you excited to finally play as a female Assassin after all these years? Or are you disappointed that that opportunity is exclusive to only Vita owners? Let us know in the comments below!
