    Poem of Self-Amusement

November 10, 2011 by Il Lupo

Warning: This poem has been created simply for my own amusement. If you are offended by this, good! That's the general idea.

    Poem of Self-Amusement

It all began with that brand-new game,

    Assassin’s Creed for Xbox.

Don’t care if you like PS3

    And PC’s worse than firefox.

You began the game, sat in your chair,

Readied to be bored and unsatisfied.

However, that first glimpse of 1191 A.D.

Immediately threw you on the Assassin’s side.

Your skills were pathetic and climbing a mess,

Falling to your death occurred often.

Dying by the sword was a little bit harder

Since Ubisoft thought player skills had softened.

Still, you kept on, killing some peeps,

    Deciding that Templars were evil.

Of course you ignored that you were a killer

‘Cause Templars are nothing but weev…

...But finally, this mini-comp is over. Since I have been so busy due to new responsibilities in Real Life (The expansion pack, Year 12) I haven't had time to even think about this blog. But now it's time to announce the winner of Sourus Wormacus!

    And the winner is...

Rossko, with his terrific answer of 'Wompa Fruit! It's a sweet! XD'

With an honourable mention to BlaiddDdraig and his unusual entry of Croquembouche. I have to admit, I've never even heard of THAT before.

So this month's mini-comp is something a little different. You must draw (with pencil or on the computer) a building from any of the main Assassin's Creed games. No sticking real images in there, I can tell if something has been simply cut from the game. Here are the rules:

    1. D…

    Sourus Wormacus!

August 21, 2011 by Il Lupo

Greetings to my fellow Assassins and not-so-fellow Templars of the Assassin's Creed Wiki!

Now, we all here have our differences and our similarities- however, we all know that it's wrong to be haters, right? Hating is wrong- slaying trolls is a-okay! :D

Therefore, it's time for a random vote to bring the community together! I'll be making one each week, and the winning voted item, be it a person, event or delicious piece of steamed brussels sprouts, shall be quoted in the next poll along with the avatar of the person with the best voting style. For example, if the poll was a choice between dirt and mud, an epic answer as to which should win will make you eligible for making a special appearance in the next vote.

I'd like to say right now that…

The title for the next Assassin's Creed game has been released with the promise of more information in May.

That's right, boys and girls, the name for the next big installment in the AC series has been leaked early! Though we still haven't been promised a date for the game release, the higher-ups have agreed to reveal that date sometime in May, 2011.

The next game will be full retail, ranking alongside Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in importance to the storyline, suggesting that it may be the promised third game of the main trilogy. Game Informer has stated that they will be the ones revealing the game, and confirmed the release date as being in May. As a finishing touch in this exciting development, Ubisoft…

    The Mantra

April 20, 2011 by Il Lupo

    Hi, community!

I was playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood last night and one of my Assassins was being intitiated into the Brotherhood. When Ezio said 'Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted' my dad walked into the room and had this long conversation with me about what that phrase really means. I personally think it was meant to remind Assassins to question everything and not put themselves down for the acts they have to committ for the preservation of free will. My dad thinks it's something to do with god and how if he doesn't exist, then there's nothing that a person can't do.

    What are your opinions?
