And the Pre-Order is a go.
Also, pre-order includes the Harlequin, a exclusive multi-player character.
Gamestop's product description reads: "Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies and prevent the extinction of their Order. And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multi-player layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of Assassin characters, each with their own unique weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other Assassins from around the world. It’s time to join the Brotherhood."
The game goes for U$59,99 and is set to be released on 11/01/2010. Pre-order it here (free merchandise, Gamestop! =P)
On a personal note, I must express my approval and somewhat surprise for Ubisoft's continued support of the PC gaming, mainly in a time where so many developers trade multi-platform (and gamers, along with it) for sales and restrictions. The whole main Assassin's Creed games have been released to PC (as will Brotherhood too), along with their other games, like FarCry, Splinter Cell and so on.
Keep it that way, Ubisoft.
