|The Final Contract|
Greeting, privateer. I must record a sad day upon the calendar, for it is to be my last as an active merchant. Circumstances have forced me into retirement, though I do not believe my enemies will allow me to withdraw without a fight. I plead for your assistance as I fear both the Spanish and the British will soon be upon me. Signed: Milo van der Graaff, former honest businessman and constant friend.
1717 - 1719
Edward took on a privateering contract, asking him to escort Milo van der Graaff to safety.
- Edward: Our merchant friend has earned himself some serious enemies.
- Adéwalé: Aye, captain. They seem rather committed to his capture.
- Edward: Christ! This reward had better be worth it.
Edward completed the contract and received his payment, alongside a set of ornate, golden flintlock pistols, and a set of blue and gold gilded sails.
