Precise Date?[]

We know of the year because the game displays it at the beginning of every sequence, but why so precise a date? Answer: Speculation. I would advise those who edit to add just the year; so, as to be safe from any form of speculation. Steven.lotr (talk) 08:06, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

Considering that it was Master Sima Yi, our bureaucrat, who added the date, I very much doubt it is speculation. I think the date comes from Assassin's Creed: Initiates (the previous version, not the current one) actually. Crook The Constantine District 08:39, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

It's either from Renaissance or Initiates, maybe both. We don't allow speculation on articles. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 10:39, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

No offence, but that came across as incredibly arrogant and self-superior. We know what we're doing, so we didn't just add that date for a laugh. --Crimson Knight Intercom 17:21, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

I take offense, Crimson Eagle! What you are doing is you are throwing out an egregious comment without taking into account that I too hate any form of speculation. Now, if you say that the date of the page was from Renaissance or Initiates, as our good friend Master Sima Yi allusioned to, then I will believe you. Truly, I will! Steven.lotr (talk) 20:24, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

The regular editors try to double-check every edit that gets made, so generally speculative information does not make it onto articles. I hope that'll assuage your worries. It's not so much your statement, but your tone that Crimson took issue with, I think. Crook The Constantine District 20:36, April 5, 2015 (UTC)
Calm down. I'm sure you didn't mean to bother me, but I had a problem, and I expressed it. In quite a rational way, I think. I'm sorry if you took offence, but that wasn't my intention. For what it's worth, yes, it is from Initiates. I remember it quite clearly. --Crimson Knight Intercom 20:45, April 5, 2015 (UTC)
