Playable Shaun

Anyone else agree that would be awesome? Or is it just me? lol

Yes, I agree, that would be cool. He could smash a compter over some guys head or insult an enemy to the point of suicide. lol. 'R BlaiddDdraig 02:47, December 21, 2010 (UTC)
He would be the ultimate definition of a "Keyboard Warrior", and it would be absolutely hilarious to see that :) Eggy2504 (User talk:Eggy2504) 18:56, October 18, 2011

Shaun's Recruitment

In the trivia it is given that " ...Shaun's recruitment into the Order is rather unconventional because assassins are naturally born into it." Then what about the whole game of Brotherhood which actually deals with civilians being recruited to become assassins?

Sign your posts please :P The Assassins were made from a mixture of TWCB blood and human blood, making them a hybrid race. The true Assassins are from long lines of these hybrids, making any accepted Assassins without the blood rare. Il Lupo 14:53, April 25, 2011 (UTC)Il Lupo

Not fluid enough

This is probably me but I had a really hard time reading in one shot. It was like large clumps. It didn't feel natural. I don't know maybe I am tired but if anyone else realizes maybe I should fix it up? Le KajaTalk 00:36, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Okay I corrected parts of it but this page needs more, it used older english, thus, it is a good word but it is older and unnatracitve to some, the page overused However and even put notably and however, No point to write notably because it is the readers choice if it is Notable or not. I hope I did a good job. Le KajaTalk 15:33, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Quote

I'm a bit dubious about the quote the grown-ups are talking now. I'm pretty sure it's Rebecca, the grown-ups are talking. Lugduname 21:17, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

It was Shaun who said it. -- KaloneousHelpDesk 21:32, October 17, 2011 (UTC)
I never said anything different, I'm only saying the quote in the article might be incorrect. (You misread my post, look at the italics). Lugduname 02:25, October 20, 2011 (UTC)

Appearance in Revelations?

I notice that on Shaun's appearances, it says that he appears in revelations. Has that been confirmed?

I'm pretty sure it has but don't quote me on that... Rossko 20:55, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

It can't be officially answered until the 15th because the game isn't released yet so no one post spoilers please. -- KaloneousHelpDesk 20:56, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Rebecca

I'm not saying add this to the article or anything. But does anyone else get the feeling (I got it mostly from their e-mail exchanges in Brotherhood) that Rebecca and Shaun have a little something going on romantically?Mercenari 00:41, January 15, 2012 (UTC)

I actually EXPECT this to happen in AC3, somehow. In ACB it is stated by emails that they went on a date on Monteriggioni and that Shaun called Rebecca to listen to music in his room, which she accepted with a ":)". So yeah, I think they do. 186.213.28.53 22:31, January 16, 2012 (UTC)LupinAAGL186.213.28.53 22:31, January 16, 2012 (UTC)

I too expect his to happen..if not drastically in AC3, then in the follow ups..that email fed my suspicions about the romantic link-up of these two. Odranoelluta 09:47, January 17, 2012 (UTC)

Past tense

The past tense on this page is so messed up I can't even begin to fix it.

Does anyone think that Shaun might have some Templar ancestors?

Does anyone think that Shaun might have some Templar ancestors? Could it bean additional reason along with "not enough time"? Would the bleeding effect would cause him to betray the assassins? Blix1ms0ns 23:21, April 10, 2012 (UTC)

SCV

" Ezio's jump to the 16th century, the time setting of Soulcalibur V. " Ezio was already in the 16th century at that point in his life. I'd change it, but I know nothing about SCV. The Leaping Eagle (talk) 21:35, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Ambrosia?

Should it be mentioned in the trivia that Shaun ate Ambrosia, the food of the gods (Well, First Civilization)?Chimoshi (talk) 21:52, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

72 reference for First Civilization

"In Assassin's Creed III, Shaun made a metafictional joke about exploring the time of the First Civilization, which Desmond agrees he might partake in after saving the world from the solar flares. This could be a reference to the fact that many fans want to see a prequel set during the First Civilization. "

I noticed that Shaun mentioned it going back 70,000 years ago before Altair, which Altair is 1000 years ago. Adding up the years makes the First Civilization 72 thousand years ago.

Shaun's age

Just wondering if it's time to update Shaun's date of birth in the bio to circa 1991. To sum up what we know from AC Initiates and the new Assassin's Creed III bio:

  • Shaun was "recruited as a teenager"
  • Was a junior professor when he was recruited, and so would have been at university
  • Was abducted by Abstergo/rescued by Rebecca in late 2010

Which makes him 20/21 during the events of ACII-ACIII.

Shaun Spotted in AC4:BF

Can anyone confirm the sighting of Shaun Hastings in AC4:BF, coffee shop w/Rebecca Crane? 108.86.141.211 21:48, October 31, 2013 (UTC)

Everyone who have played the game can. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 22:06, October 31, 2013 (UTC)

In acb, if you talk to Shaun, he might mention that he always wanted to work as a barista. It seems his dream came true in ACIV84.84.185.105 19:29, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

Deacon

It sounds like Deacon is Shaun Hastings. Since he sounds like him. --Cococrash11 (talk) 09:07, November 12, 2014 (UTC)

Related to the attack on a Parisian Templar lab?

In Unity, while he is referred as "Deacon", Bishop say something like "Abstergo must still be angry about what you did last month", the point is that Shaun took part in something against, so, Unity takes part in November, so that "something" happened in October, the same month the Assassins and Intiiates, leaded by Eric Cooper and Gavin Banks, attacked Abstergo's laboratory in Paris. Should we add this info.? DipsonDP (talk) 01:34, August 15, 2015 (UTC)

He definitely participated, in some point, he says: "We stole their data, destroyed their Precursor Samples (Which confirms that Abstergo has to start Project Phoenix from the beginning again) and we melted a few of their servers"

DipsonDP (talk) 01:46, August 15, 2015 (UTC)

If Shaun was a part of that team, he must have stayed in Paris, splitting from the team before they made it to La Rochelle. Otherwise, Berg would have recognized more than just Gavin on the team. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 02:14, August 15, 2015 (UTC)
