Refinement[]

I have just finished completing and revising the entirety of the article, and thus removed the Revamp tag. It had lain in an unfinished state for many years until yesterday for the original author published it before finishing it. Given the amount of work put into it, I now want to refine it. So here are some possible issues:

  • Infobox I have considered changing the Infobox to a Conflict one, not an Event. The reason is because the current list of participants includes enemies as well as allies to Altaïr in one list, and I think this can be confusing for readers. I think technically as an event, the participants should only list those that were personally involved in the quest on Altaïr's side. On the other hand, it'd be more informative to include the list of opponents as well although I think as the subject is Altaïr's mission, not the conflict over the Chalice itself, it might not be accurate to use that infobox.
As well, I wasn't sure of the proper order for the names. I revised it to be in chronological order except with Altaïr, Adha, and Basilisk first. I omitted some names of people that I felt were not directly involved with the quest, such as Badr, who was Fajera's bodyguard. I also omitted names of minor, random guards like Nazim, Firas, and Qasim.
  • Quotes:I generally think that the quotes are fine, although I'm not sure if it's policy for there to be a quote for each section. I dislike the heading quote though.
  • Introduction: I personally think that this is a very concisely written summary of the entire mission. I am concerned though that some may think it is too long. At the same time, I think that given how much detail there is in the entire article, it was necessary to include a summary of this exact length at the beginning. The first paragraph is technically an even shorter summary, almost like a thesis.
  • Section Titles: I left all section titles unchanged from the previous version. I wasn't sure of our policy for section titles, whether they are allowed to be more artistic as the titles of novels and chapters of novels, or they are expected to be as straightforward as possible. Saying so, when I wrote the last sections that were missing, I just opted for the titles of their corresponding memories (i.e. "Running Wind," "Snake Heart.")
  • Citations: Originally, as I expected the one and only source for this article to be the game Altaïr's Chronicles, I did not add citations. However, at the end, I realized that the finale was really only explained in Altaïr's codex, and the aftermath section from Assassin's Creed. As a result, I'm guessing I should add citations now, except 90% of the article still comes from the game itself. I think it may be awkward to have only [1] prevailing throughout the entire article until just the last two sections, almost redundant, and I'm not sure if I should cite, how often that citation for the game should appear.
  • Images: I do intend to supply other articles with more images from Altaïr's Chronicles, but I was thinking that this article itself already has sufficient images. The only ones I question are the infobox one, as I think it's a poor representation of the mission, given he's running at the plain door of a tower and the ones uploaded from the DS version. The quality of the DS version's images are evidently poorer than the ones from the iOS version, and I'm wondering whether we should just replace all with images from the iOS version instead.
