Assassin Dens in Mediterranean Defense[]

I don't understand the point of building assassin dens and assigning my apprentices to them in Mediterranean Defense. Despite the fact one of them has 5 members, it still lowers at the same rate of control as one that has no protection. So does anyone know why one needs to do this besides just having some reserved apprentices?

Mission resolutions/outcomes[]

Is there a way to view a log or history of the contract/mission's outcome after performing it, like there is in Brotherhood?
