Freemasons = Templars[]

I find it odd that, at least in the AC universe, the Freemasons would be allied w/the Templars. I know about their alleged Templar origins in real life, but the Freemasons were part of the Enlightenment, and the Enlightenment ideals sound like the kind of thing that would be anti-AC!Templar and pro-AC!Assassin. Not to mention, Masons were persecuted in the Holocaust, and in the AC verse, Hitler was a Templar (then again, so were Henry Ford, FDR, Churchill, LBJ and Buzz Aldrin, who in real life were/are Masons). —M.C.Tales 19:27, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

In addition, are we even 100% certain that the Washington is a Templar and that the Freemasons are a Templar organization? After all, the only evidence we have (so far) that they are a Templar organization is at least circumstantial as far as the AC series is concerned. Also, I recently did some research, and according to Wikipedia, Harry Houdini was a Freemason (make of this what you will). Finally, the coded message in Glyph 3 merely says that the Masons brought the Third Apple to America and that Washington passed it on. Why stub?[]

George Washington's Height[]

I couldn't help noticing how Connor and George Washington are standing at the exact same height. Wasn't George Washington 6'2? Why do Ubisoft scale the heights so inaccurately? Supreme Master AssassinIL Mentori 19:00, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

The DLC[]

Has there been any true conformation that his "The Tyranny of King Washington" is indeed non-cannon with the AC storyline, or are we to assume that the phrase "alternate history" is meant to mean alternate in our universe but not so much the AC universe? 76.27.195.6 19:12, October 7, 2012 (UTC)Christengo

The proper term is "canon," not "cannon." A cannon shoots cannon balls. The DLC has been explicitly stated to be an alternate reality. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 19:26, October 7, 2012 (UTC)
lol Perfectionist much? But I don't get it. Why make an alternate reality if all the other DLCs were... "canon" (as it's apparently spelled)? Is ubisoft just trying to take a new step in their artistic direction? Is Desmond being shown a false memory to diminish his sense of reality or perhaps to make him feel less pride in the nation he was born in? I'm not a perfectionist, I'm just pointing it out for future notice. Apparently they are making this kind of content so that people who haven't bought the DLC wouldn't have missed anything relevant when they play the next game. Á la The Da Vinci Disappearance and The Lost Archive. They were interesting because their stories were good and very relevant. Downloadable content like the Battle of Forlì, Bonfire of the Vanities and Copernicus Conspiracy wasn't all that successful because their stories weren't very relevant. So I'm guessing they are trying out to see what this kind of content will bring them. I'm not very fond of it... Connor's alliegence[]

Here's something that really bugs me. Adding to what Nesty said, our own Sons of Liberty article states that well-known Patriots didn't join the group as a safeguard from British harassment. Washington certainly falls into well-known category of Patriots. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 20:28, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
