english and italian[]
i remember when in sanctuary desmond got vision about ezio using the trap door thing(the one that kill a guard)
i remember that ezio use english and some italian...but he is out from animus....so how can ezio use english????was the genetic memory can translate its own language?so whats important in using animus translation thing that rebecca install?is that effect of using animus that rebecca use?
.... ? Er, are you sure you arn't mixing up Ezio and Desmond there? It's explained why Ezio is speaking in English (with occasional Italian) in AC and ACII, due to the language translation software installed into the Animus. Desmond sees Ezio due to genetic memory+Bleeding Effect at the Villa (AC:B), and it seems has a handle on the Italian accent (and probably some Italian) due to the Bleeding Effect as well. -- A Black Rabbit 07:56, December 8, 2010 (UTC)

Limits On Recall[]
As genetic memory is passed on through DNA would this mean that you'd only be able to follow somebody's life upto the point where they sired the offspring which would be your next ancestor in line?
This would explain why Desmond was unable to follow Altair after the encounter with Maria on the tower in Acre, since he'd now be watching the recollections of Altair and Maria's son (presumably Darim, but possibly Sef.)
This would also mean that as Desmond is able to follow Ezio to quite a late point in his life, Ezio must be due to father a child quite late. Dirty dog. XD
