Freemason Edit

Has anyone considered that Charles Lee may be a Freemason, since in the picture on his page has him holding his right hand in his jacket, which is a way they show they are one; and look at what he susposedly did to Connor.Ezio Auditore 01:15, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

FamilyEdit

I remember reading about Lee having a wife who was the daughter of a Mohawk chief. He is known to have had twins with her. Does anyone think it's possible Connor may be related? Baradhamon84 07:52, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

I just read this too, and I point to several coincidences that may make this a distinct possibility

1. There seems to be a resemblance between Connor and Lee, at least in my eyes, and as far as you can tell from video game models.

2. Connor was (according to a video shown on OXM during an interview with Alex Hutchinson) born in 1755. This was the exact time, according to Wikipedia, that Charles Lee married the daughter of a Mohawk chief and had twins.

If Charles Lee is in fact the father of Connor, and thus an ancestor of Desmond, it also results in Desmond being a direct descendant of Charles II of England, and thus a relative of Europe's royal families as well as most British noble families, as well as myself. (he was also descended from Caterina Sforza and Lorenzo de' Medici. How do I know this? Because I'm a semi professional genealogist.) SpartanCrow 23:44, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Antagonist Edit

Anyone else think Lee will be a major if not the main antagonist. Just think jealous of washington stealing his postion so he goes templar and is a mole trying to steer the americans into losing to the british templars (I assume they are templars as the templars have roots in england in AC History) Also in screenshots he is shown harrassing young connor and holding something in his coat (washington's apple?

There are Templars on both the British and American side. The Brits aren't Templars or bad guys, and the Americans aren't the good guys. As for Charles Lee, only time will tell what role he will play. -- Master Sima Yi 20:04, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
As I said above, I've done some reaserch (and my friends grandfather was a freemason) that the hand in the coat seems to repersent a connection with freemasonry. Just proposing something. Ezio Auditore 22:27, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
Also, the death of Lee (1782) is relatively consistent with the year in which the game is supposed to end (1783). Nootropus 23:53, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
It also states that Lee died in philadelphia, which is supposed to feature in the game as a one time visit[ minus memory replays of course]. so maybe he is a templar? as sima said, only time will tell 99.252.223.194 03:54, August 10, 2012 (UTC)
Do you mean like Rome in AC2? The Crimson Eagle - Intercom 15:16, August 26, 2012 (UTC)
It's possible. But keep in mind, there are most likely living descendants of Charles around today; Ubisoft wouldn't trash his name or anything like that. That could offend people quite easily. The Crimson Eagle - Intercom 21:15, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
Lee was a traitor to the continental army and a coward, I'm sure he's been trashed enough. Tyler D'Ambrosio (talk) 14:40, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

And then, plot twist, he'll be Connor's love interest. Tru story. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 15:02, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

There are living relatives of hitler today... They just changed their names and got on with their lives. Rotionpotion (talk) 20:15, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Burning down the villageEdit

Why does the arcticle still say that Lee and the templars burned down the village? I thought it was Washington's men who did it.Templar king (talk) 21:54, January 12, 2013 (UTC)

Good point actually. I assume that Lee was responsible under Washington's orders. Does this also mean that Connor was wrong all along for blaming Lee for the death of his mother? Haytham did say "We did not harm you people", implying that the Templars weren't involved in the burning. I'm not sure. Liendax (talk) 22:08, January 12, 2013 (UTC)

Haytham sent Lee and the others to negotiate with the Kanien'kehá:ka elders, but they were unsuccessful. Shortly after, Washington's troops came and burned the village on George's orders. Connor mistook Lee and the Templars to have been the ones responsible because he had been knocked out and didn't know the real culprit, and assumed it was the Templars since Lee had pinned him against the tree. A Question Edit

I'm curious, Charles Lee is a real life character am i right? {{SUBST:Signatures/Mr.potata}} 16:40, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

Isn't the wikipedia globe in the top right corner of the article and the trivia a dead giveaway? --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 16:49, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
