Eagle Vision Clue? If you turn around after the cutscene right after entering the large room with the giant cross and scan in Eagle Vision near the door you will see a letter cipher and a pyramid with an Apple on top, very similar to what Subject 16 left on the floor of the Abstergo Animus Room. I don't know how to get a screenshot off of my Xbox, but did anyone else see this? Someone mentioned it in the Gamefaqs forum but I never saw a follow up.

Did the Apple tell Brutus to leave this message for Ezio or anyone else that may relive his memories (Sixteen and Desmond)? I guess this will make more sense if someone else finds it and finds out what the letter puzzle means.

Actually Thewootinater, I noticed this too, but I've completely forgotten where it's at. Can you give us a better description of it's location so I can go back and take a better look? Thanks. -Assassin-of-Rayne- 08:53, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

In the cathedral-like room with the giant cross it is on the floor a few feet away from the door. As you approach the door to the room a cutscene will ensue with Ezio asking to meet the leader of the Followers of Romulus. The end of this cutscene will put you a little too far into the room to see it, so double back and turn on Eagle Vision. It's on the floor near the door next to a couple Romulus pelts and some glowing embers of a fire. There is a word puzzle like what 16 left at Abstergo which is, unfortunately, partly obscured by a wolf pelt. Also, there is a variation of the All-Seeing Eye pyramid with the Apple on the top right next to it. If you get too far into the room and try to look around in Eagle Vision it is possible to miss because from a distance it looks just like a dwindling fire. Hopefully this helps. If I had a hi-def TV I would totally take some pictures. Alas, with the one I have my pictures would be pretty useless. Thewootinater 20:09, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I've gotten most of the word puzzle figured out, but some of the letters are fuzzy on my TV. Just like the one Sixteen left at Abstergo it goes from bottom to top, starting in the bottom right and going left. So far I got: "Artefacts sent to the skies to control all nations to make us obey...them." Consider everything after that a ?, I just put down my best guess. These idiots need to learn how to write neatly with their blood, sheesh. ;) The other ?'s are letters obscured by objects in the room.

I'll keep working on it until someone with better resolution can take a crack at it. Thewootinater 05:53, January 7, 2011 (UTC)

Nevermind, it's the exact same one Sixteen left previously. "Artefacts sent to the skies to control all nations, to make us obey a hidden crusade. Do not help them."

Well I feel stupid. *n00b*

But, this brings up an interesting question: Why and who would have left them there? If it was Sixteen, why not make them executable glyphs? Instead, it appears just as the hidden messages at Abstergo and the 1419, 1420, 1421 that were both written in blood by a physical being -- Sixteen and Ezio respectfully. Did Brutus look into the Apple and leave these messages there? Thewootinater 07:10, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
