New look for ACIII

Just saw the new page look, wanted to say that it was impressively quick and looks amazing. Great work guys! (I really hope I put this in the right place).

The eagle 21:04, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

For the page that has the looks of all of the assassins for that game (Altair-Young Ezio-Brotherhood Ezio-Old Ezio-Connor), wouldn't it be better to use this: http://www.gameinformer.com/p/ac3.aspx for the picture of Connor instead of the current one, as if you flip it horizontally it'll be leaning more to the right and will look more natural. 108.36.137.147 23:22, March 3, 2012 (UTC)

What is that green design in the logo? XV DEaD ShOT xV 21:01, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

Hey havent you guys seen the announcements of Assassins Creed 4 you should put it in incognito like you did with AC: 3 before. Le Vulpe 21:20, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

There is no Assassin's Creed IV. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 01:12, March 22, 2012 (UTC)
Yes there is, look here it talks about AC: 4 consequently there may be a 4th game:
http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/ubisoft-assassins-creed-4-could-take-place-before-assassins-creed-3/

That's Assassin's Creed 3. They said the name wrong. If you look at the AC3 page, it shows that exact image and more. Here's the page. http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed_III

...They are talking about Assassin's Creed IV. They only show an image from Assassin's Creed III because there aren't any AC4 images... -- Master Sima Yi 22:15, March 22, 2012 (UTC)

The truth of Ezio Auditore's death. Let me know what you think.

The Truth: Ezio died of a heart attack, Ubisoft even confirmed it. The guy who sat down next to him was just a random guy, who reminded Ezio of his teenage years. (Always chasing after women.) The guy got up and left because he saw Ezio wasn't feeling well. There wasn't any poison involved, and the, "Templar insignia" on his wrist has nothing to do with it. Ezio knew he was on his way out, that's why he wrote his death letter before he left for Florence with his family. We all saw Ezio's decaying health condition throughout the movie (His coughing). It was at it's worst point when he arrived in Florence with his family (His wheezing). He also knew his passing was coming because when his wife said something about Ezio staying home, he said, "I am home." He was refering to his birthplace of Florence. When Ezio's heart attack hit him, it took him by suprise as you could see by his facial expressions. When Ezio looked at the man, Ezio looked suprised because the man reminded him of himself in his teenage years, like I said earlier. At that point, Ezio knew it was his time to go, but he looked over at his wife and daughter, and smiled because he realized his life had a purpose. He even tells that to Desmond at the end of AC:R inside Altair's library. He was a Prophet, delivering a message to Desmond. If you listen to Ezio's death letter, you will hear him talk about, "Liberty, Time & Love." All three, which he didn't understand when he was young and immature. He then says how he finally understood them in his later years. Ezio remembers this, along with looking at his family that he loves dearly, and is ready to go. He knows he served as a mentor, a lover, a father, and an inspiration to many, many people. Personally, I think Ezio goes down as THE best video game character of all time. Seeing him as a child, grow into a man and Master Assassin makes you develope a connection with him, something that is rare in the gaming world. But, it's nice to know he died peacefully as also one of the greatest Assassins in history. Nothing is true, everything is permitted. Requiescat in Pace, Ezio Auditore.

How can Desmond Miles be related to 3 different Assassins?

Altair Ibn-La'Ahad (1165-1257) was a Syrian Assassin during the Middle Ages, from 1191 until his death the mentor of the Assassins in the Levant. Raised to be an Assassin from birth, Altaïr obtained the rank of Master Assassin by his twenty-fourth year. However, following his failure to obtain the Apple from Robert de Sable in early 1191, and subsequently allowing the Templars to attack the city of Masyaf.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze (1459 – 1524) was a Florentine nobleman during the Renaissance and, unbeknownst to most historians and philosophers, the Mentor of the Italian branch of the Assassin Order, a title he held from 1503 to 1512.

A member of the House of Auditore, Ezio remained unaware of his Assassin heritage until the age of 17, when he witnessed the hanging of his father and two brothers, Federico and Petruccio. Forced to flee his birthplace with his remaining family members - his mother and sister - Ezio took refuge in the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni, at the Villa Auditore.

Born to a British father and Mohawk mother, Ratonhnhaké:ton was raised among his mother's tribe. He suffered severely during his childhood, largely from the tribe's encounters with European colonists; a conflict that reached its peak when his village was destroyed by a colonial force. This event prompted him to seek justice for his people and fight tyranny wherever he saw it. His endeavors eventually led to him joining the Assassin Order in 1770, as well as adopting the name "Connor" in order to more easily move through colonial circles.

Five years later, the American Revolutionary War erupted, and Connor found himself siding with the leaders of the American revolution, namely George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, partially due to his belief in the ideals that they represented.

Even with all of this information, nothing here tells us that there is a connection with these assassins, because Altair was born in Syria, then Ezio was born in Italy and lastly Connor was raised in America. Also many people think that Ezio and Altair are related, but Ubisoft said that there are in no way connect by family. Additionaly when I was doing research into this I found a geneaology of Subject 17 by Abstergo. From close analysis this is not published by Ubisoft it is a fake made by a random person. XthedocX10 19:25, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

This isn't the place to ask this question, and this question already has been asked so many times. The genealogy is from the Abstergo Files in Revelations. As for how Desmond is related to all of them while they are related, take a look at any family tree. Your grandmother from your mother's side isn't related to you grandfather from your father's side, and your great-great-great-great-grandmother from your mother's side isn't related to your great-great-great-great-grandfather from your father's side and on and on. Your own parents aren't even related to each other, only by marriage. As for how Desmond is American while Altaïr is Syrian, Ezio Italian and Connor half British; migration is the answer. People move to different places, and eventually all their bloodlines wound up in America. -- Master Sima Yi 19:37, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

How comes Altair and Ezio resemble Desmond but Connor doesnt ?

Because they were built with his face model, whereas new technology allows them to create a different face for Connor in comparison to Desmond this time around. Also, this question would have been better off on the Desmond Miles talk page. Slate Vesper 01:42, June 12, 2012 (UTC).

There is a link on the homepage in the game portal area. It's supposed to take users to the page for Assassin's Creed: Discovery. You can make a Fanon article by creating a new article and adding ACFanon: to the front of it. I can then add the Fanon template for you. Slate Vesper (talk) 16:18, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

Project: Aperture Redux'ed

There is a graphic on the home page that is a link, but it doesn't appear to work in Chrome with a normal left click (you have to right click, open in new tab/new window), although after testing it does work in Internet Explorer 9. The other images within that panel work fine in Chrome, seeming to display a new panel with additional navigation options. Assuming this isn't simply an issue on my end (to which I have little way of testing) somebody might want to troubleshoot this.

Additionally, it links to the news page when clicked in Internet Explorer. Am I missing something, or is this all "Project Aperture Redux'ed" is supposed to be? My gut says that--in light of seeming to reference Portal/Half Life both graphically and through the name--this is an incorrect link. If it's not, I appologize for bringing it up. -173.25.106.89 12:43, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

This was never answered, and I'm curious now, since I see it in new banner. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 21:59, March 12, 2015 (UTC)

This seems to be a problem with the way Wikia renders gifs. I'm using the same link format in the Portal code for all the image components, and only the GIF has the issue. I tried other linking formats with no success. Oddly, it works in the Preview pane. For now, I'm going to assume it has to do with what features Chrome has implemented. Sovereignty and Partition

I think it would be very historic if the assassins creed gaming industry , made an assassin that is in Ireland under the sovereignty, partition and the ruling of the united kingdom. if they made a game were u stand as a republican fighting for the Irish and the brotherhood . Take the 1900's up as far as 1940's were Ireland got independence. You could include the 1913 Lockout, 1916 rising (including the excecutions of the 7 leaders that lead the rising), The IRA and the War of Independence, The negotiations of the Treaty, The Civil war(which also brought on the excecutions of politicians, members of the IRA and the death of Irish free state army officers) and The Origins of Northeren Ireland. —Preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.78.5.7 (talk · contr)

About the whole past tense thing...

I know I'm a newcomer here, but I've edited on many other wikis.  I have no illusions that my one post will effect a sweeping change, but I aim to stand my ground on this for as long as I edit here.  If anyone 'fixes' my contributions to conform to their sillyness, I will personally change it back.  I will not go as far as to edit contributions of others to suit my tastes, unless it is part of a page which I entirely revamp for more practical purposes.

I really cannot understand why everything - and I mean everything - is written in past tense.  Look, I get it, this is a series about historical fiction.  I imagine some people feel more immersed writing about the things like they actually happened.  But please, I beg of you, limit the use of past tense to actually talking about events in the timeline.

Game features do not merit past tense.  They are features of a video game, media that is immediately accessible to anyone who owns them.  People currently playing the games are doing the things you are writing about.  It is simply nonsensical and asinine to write about them like they happened some time in the past.

Individual portions of memories do not merit past tense.  If I see a walkthrough on this wiki that says 'Ezio then jumped from the beam he was on to the beam ten feet up and twenty feet over' I will actually choke a virtual kitten.

The only way I will budge is if there is an actual document about contributions on this wiki that requires all contributions to be formatted in this manner.  If that is the case, I will simply abstain from contributing to this wiki.

That's really all I have to say on the matter.  Incrognito (talk) 02:11, December 4, 2013 (UTC)

All the historical events that take place - effectively, everything experienced through the Animus - and all past events within the modern-day story are to be written in past tense, as per this policy. There's a discussion to this effect from last year here as well.
Molotov.cockroach (talk) 02:33, December 4, 2013 (UTC)

Molotov hit it right on the head; as a policy, we make all articles be past tense. This has been our policy for a long time, and changing it would require a massive amount of rewriting, which is unreasonable for us to expect from our fanbase. Logistics aside, the Writing Tense policy article makes it clear that we are considering the most recent event or moments after it to be considered the present, so everything else, including the game development or playthroughs to have happened in the past. Encyclopedial past tense is simplest and most correct. Edit warring over this is not recommended. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 03:59, December 4, 2013 (UTC)
Incrognito, given that you now know why we write in the past tense I should point out that if you insist on being an irritant by continuing to change articles to the present tense, you will be banned from contributing, by someone. That said, since you have now been informed about our policy, I fully expect you will no longer be making contributions, as per your statement.
Further to this, I would like to point out that whilst you are correct in that the player is 'viewing' these memories (rw: missions) in a present day context, these memories are simply recordings of what happened historically. Ezio did jump from the beam; he's not still jumping from that beam now, (damnit, he'd be 557 years old), so we're not going to change it to the present tense.
EDIT: I have also just noticed that this post is your only edit. You seriously want to start your tenure on here by bitching about something you haven't even encountered yet? Now I'm confused. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:53, December 4, 2013 (UTC)
Alright.  Admittedly, it was very poor form to start off in this tone.  I actually did not know where to find the exact policy that I read just now (I thought it was possibly just a tradition and not actual policy).  And given the approach I began with, I understand fully why you responded in kind.
I guess what set me off was reading something like this:
"Ezio could renovate a faction building for 1,200 florins, after which the members of the faction he assigned it to could be found outside. They would then assist Ezio after having received a payment."  To me, this is extremely irritating.  It is describing in past tense a game mechanic which is an interface for performing the action that Ezio did in the historical context.  That said, since there is already a discussion on this matter, I will direct further debate - if I find the need to - to that discussion.
I didn't mean to create the impression that I do not appreciate the past tense as a rule.  I just feel like...perhaps it would be best to organize the sections of the pages to differentiate between the actual game mechanic granularity and the historical actions taken by the game character.  And yes, I haven't made any edits to this wiki as of yet.  I tend to think this is because the existing pages are actually quite comprehensive and well-formed for the most part, which I whole-heartedly appreciate.  Hopefully this first impression hasn't irreparably damaged my credibility.  I've done quite a job embarassing myself.  Thank you for not immediately ejecting me, I know you probably had to resist the temptation!  Incrognito (talk) 19:51, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

You provide a solid argument for you view (which is more than others have done in the past), but as you said, it was your tone. That aside, the reason we treat such an example in the past tense is answered by the idea of synchronization; specifically, we work on the assumption that absolutely everything that can be done in the memory was, at some point, actually done by the ancestor.

Ezio did, historically, at some point, fund the renovation of a guild building blah, blah, blah. We know he did because, if the player elects not to, they will not obtain 100% synchronisation.

Saying "Ezio did this on that day..." is a lot easier than saying "Desmond Miles, while operating the Animus, engaged the virtual representation of his ancestor's genetic memory to renovate a guild building in order to increase his synchronisation level with the ancestor". --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 20:36, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

Rename?

The wiki's title line (the words that appear after "The Assassin's Creed Wiki") only goes up to Revelations, then uses the catch-all phrase "walkthroughs and more!" While this is fine and true, the series has expanded significantly since this name was put into effect. Do you think that it should be reworked to include AC3 and AC4?

On This Day...

I noticed that there are varying ways to denote the days certain events happened. I generally use the following formula: month/day/year (such as November' 22, 1969), but I noticed that some dates on the wiki are noted using this formula: day/month/year (22 November, 1969).

I know this is a little, technical detail, but in the interest of keeping the wiki consistent, which date format should I use when editing?

No more 'Final Words' subsection?

I was wandering around the wiki lately and noticed that for many of the assassination targets, the subsection at the end of the page containing the target's last words had been deleted. It caught my attention, so I kept going around and then I noticed that all of the last words are gone for every single target

I just wanted to make sure this is really happening, so that I know not to accidentally get in trouble by trying to put them back up.

To a lesser extent, it also helps me make sure I'm not losing my mind. MasterKenway (talk) 05:24, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

Navigation page

Think this wiki needs something for each game that acts as a home page and has links to all relevant material for each game (such as secrets, characters, weapons, armor, etc). If there already is something like this, it needs to be more visible, because I can't seem to find it, and all I care about is info for Black Flag. The Black Flag page is just info about the game, like a regular wiki. 69.84.24.114 17:49, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Well, you go to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and in that article you will find links to the other important articles, such as Edward Kenway and the likes. And from those pages, you can link to others. That is the way a wiki works. Nesty Contact me! 17:53, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
If you want to half-ass it, sure. I'm 30% through the game. All I want to do is look up info about things I can explore, what kind of content awaits me, or other information through an easily navigatable page, but I can't do that because I don't know what to search for or where to start. I just want to browse through specifics, not click on characters, filter through the crap and spoilers (James Kidd?) with hope that I find what I'm looking for. But it's no skin off my back - I just felt I should share my valuable insight to someone who seems to care about how this wiki is perceived. Your site effectively made me go somewhere else for the info I want (I'm assuming that's the opposite reaction this wiki intended).
As an alternative, you could just edit the main page(s) to be more useful instead of a generic copy/paste from wikipedia (among other near-useless information). 69.84.24.114 18:11, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
Then how about you sod off and head to IGN or similar site that deals with that stuff? --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 18:17, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
I was JUST thinking about whether or not some of you would get irritated that your wiki isn't up to snuff - like your little "niche community" is offended that an outsider would dare come in here and tell you that you don't do enough to keep visitors interested... but then I wrote it off as being too childish. This is a wiki, where information is shared freely and without interaction. Your job, if you want to call it that, is to stick around and keep it updated - and I'm telling you it's not good enough. If you don't want to accept that and be relegated to that shitty after-site behind IGN, then by all means, throw a fit and act like a kid... or man up and make this place worth visiting. Your call.

It's not an overhaul, or even rocket science. There is a lot of information that could be linked to in your primary articles.
ex. Locations link -> page with towns, forts, islands with names, etc etc -> links to specific pages with information. Add a description of the location, whether or not it's real place (does it have history? post it, why not), or any other types of obscure information that few people may care about (ie. what came in the regular edition release box for the xbox 360... the most useless part of Black Flag wiki).
This isn't a new thing. I have used many wiki's in the past that break it down like this. It's not even that the content doesn't exist on the site, you just need to put it somewhere so everyone can see it.
69.84.24.114 18:30, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
Anon, if you want anybody in this wiki to speak to, or treat you as anything but an obnoxious four year old with an extremely inflated sense of self worth about your own "valuable insight", I would suggest changing your tone to one that is more civil. Simply telling us that the way we have successfully run this wiki for the last seven years is not good enough is unlikely to go down particularly well. Your call. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 18:35, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
You just got free, no nonsense and completely honest advice. Be offended until you're tickled for all I care. You're not my mother, so I'm not going to candy coat anything for you. Your wiki kind of sucks, plain and simple. I'm sorry is has to be this way. I'm sorry I'm the meany that has to tell you, but it's the truth. It could be better right now actually, if you were there adding in some changes instead of being all hurt up in here about some stranger you've never met telling you something you weren't prepared to hear today.
69.84.24.114 18:40, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
It's clear you haven't spent much time on this wiki, if you truly believe your words have hurt me in any way... I've asked you to be polite for your own sake. Just because you think we could be doing better means nothing to me, you do not represent the majority. If you'd take the time to look at our Categories, you'd find exactly what you are demanding we dump on our main page... --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 18:43, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

I've looked over your suggestions. A "Locations" link would be out-of-universe, something we stray from here. You could try location categories. Also, if an article exists in real life, there is a {{WP-REAL}} template added, which links you to its real-life counterpart article on Wikipedia. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 18:46, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

That was an example, and to be frank, I'm not going to do your work for you. Expand on the wiki or don't, I don't really care at this point.
Enforcing rules over content is definitely the route to go, too, by the way.
69.84.24.114 18:50, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
Your problem is that you seem to be under the impression that we are a game-guide (like IGN), which we are not. If we were then I would agree with you completely that our articles and navigation facilities are lacking, but since we are not a game guide - we are an in-universe encyclopaedia - there is no work that needs doing. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 18:59, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
I never got that impression, and the only thing stopping you are your, rather riduculous, rules.

I could probably go on forever, but that would be spam-like.
Check some other wiki's. The Fallout wiki, in particular, has rules against telling people how to play (game-guide), but they don't have a problem posting information about locations, weapons, armor, etc, in the game as a general resource.
69.84.24.114 19:23, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
Does it say "Fallout Wiki" at the top of our website? No, I didn't think so. I grow tired of this. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 19:51, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, it's way too much to ask to take a simple example of someone that did something better and adopt it as your own, and you should definitely ignore the point. I'm getting tired of your stupidity, too. See you bitter nerds at IGN maybe.
Memory Alpha is another good wiki that puts yours to shame. And hey, all that is written in the past tense, too!

13,000+ edits and I bet not a single piece of it was interesting or useful information. Your irrational pride towards something lackluster* amuses me (sucks is too strong a word).
69.84.24.114 20:51, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Alright, that's the end of this thread. The point of this talk-page is to help make the page/wiki better. If all you are going to do is insult our users, I'm going to ask that you stop and move on. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 20:55, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

How about this; how about you give me your definition of "out of universe" and tell me why, exactly, "locations" doesn't fit into that "view", or armor and weapons  - an actual reason that is meant to convince me one way or another, because you have yet to do that. It just sounds like some nerdy bullshit rule - I can't even describe how stupid it is.
69.84.24.114 21:14, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

This community's made the decision to do things as we do quite some time ago now, and it's what we're going for. Assassin's Creed no longer is just a video game franchise and we're not trying to be a game guide. We never have, not even before we made the formal change to the format we're applying now. I can understand that your expectations of what a 'video game' wiki should offer are different than what you found here, but we're not the only ones doing this. If you wish things to change, you can propose that on the forums with a well-written explanation of why it should be. Otherwise, I'm going to tell you to refrain from resorting to insults, because it is not helping your case. If nobody has anything useful to add to this discussion anymore - do the logical thing and don't add anything. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 21:48, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

That's not a definition of "out of universe".
And your crowd started it - I just finished it. It was entertaining.
69.84.24.114 21:52, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Memory Alpha isn't directly involved with Star Trek Online, but it's wiki page is still impressive despite being primarily for the TV shows. The Star Trek Online wiki itself breaks down more about the game than this one does for any of the Assassin's Creed titles as far as I know. Madae (talk) 22:26, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Allright. The anon has been banned for insulting behaviour, which officially ends this thread. No more replies please. Nesty Contact me! 12:16, June 28, 2014 (UTC)

Mainpage suggestion

I'm an AC fan, and I LOVE THIS WIKI, and I think we should add Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry to the main page where it says spinoffs or main games. Thanks guys, Raj —Preceding unsigned comment was added by Rajdeep Rana 22 (talk · contr)

Thanks, it's a good suggestion given the DLC was given a stand-alone release. --Alientraveller (talk) 22:51, July 18, 2014 (UTC)
It doesn't fit as a main game. Spin-off is also a stretch, given it's literally a 9-mission DLC released as a standalone. I think the mention of standalone availability on its page is enough. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 22:56, July 18, 2014 (UTC)
Maybe so, but I think we should at least put Black Flag or Unity there, because it's been a while. You guys are still great. --The Dark lord (talk) 22:53, July 20, 2014 (UTC)15:53, July 20, 2014
Black Flag is already listed under the main games. Unity will be added once it's released. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 22:58, July 20, 2014 (UTC)

Currently the logo at the top of the website is the Assassin insignia of the Caribean Assassin pirates from AC4. Since AC4 was released a long time ago and we have a new logo for AC Unity, I think we should switch to that one.

Last I checked, I could access the internet and the regular wiki page on my smartphone. And I don't think any other wiki has his own special app for them. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 13:21, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
We do have an app, though only on Android as of yet: Wikia Guide:Assassin's Creed. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 14:57, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
God how I would love for Wikia just to flipping function properly on my Safari browser in my iPad Air or iPhone 5. /me grumbles Slate Vesper (talk) 01:55, September 16, 2014 (UTC)

I heard a rumor that my friend told me he heard on some website that Haytham appears in AC Rouge and dies. Is this True?

Why would it be true? Haytham already dies by Connor's hand in AC3, which takes place after Rogue. Crook The Constantine District 19:01, December 9, 2014 (UTC)

Navigation template

Hi. I don't know if this is the right place, but I would like sugggest to edit the navigation template on the bottom of the wiki, that one which has the windows "On the wiki", "Main games" etc. :

  • First, I suggest to move Assassin's Creed III: Liberation and Assassin's Creed Chronicles from the "Main games" window to the "other games" one: all the pages concerning them regarde them as spin-offs.
  • I suggest to add Assassin's Creed: Identity inside the window "Other games";
  • I suggest to add Assassin's Creed (film) inside the window "Other media";
  • Then, I suggest to create a window called "Card games" inside the "Other games" window and put the games Assassin's Creed: Recollection and Assassin's Creed: Memories into this new window;
  • I suggest to create a window called "Short films" inside the "Other media" window and put the films Assassin's Creed: Lineage and Assassin's Creed: Ascendance and Assassin's Creed: Embers into this new window;
  • I suggest to create a window called "Comics" inside the "Other media" window and put the comics 'Assassin's Creed (Les Deux Royaumes comics) and Assassin's Creed: The Fall and Assassin's Creed: The Chain and Assassin's Creed: Brahman and Assassin's Creed (Titan comics) into this new window;
  • Finally, I suggest to create a window called "Promotional media" inside the "other media" window and put the media Assassin's Creed: Initiates and Question the Creed and Assassin's Creed: Revelations – Discover Your Legacy and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag – The Watch and Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Path to Revelations and Unlock the Animus Challenge and Twitter Assassination Experience into this new window.

Thank you for the attention,Re Edward Kenway (talk) 08:19, September 9, 2015 (UTC)

You may well have been better off making a thread about this, as it tends to draw more attention, but this is a perfectly suitable location for your post. Whilst all of your points are valid, there are a couple I would disagree with.
  1. “Main games” deals with those releases that were made available on PC or console, so for that reason I would keep the Chronicles games in this section.
  2. The same applies to Liberation for the above reasons.
  3. Finally, I don’t think that a “Promotional media” section is necessarily required. Many of these articles can be reached via other, equally efficient means (i.e. the search bar), and we’re not wanting to overload the top bar too much.
Beyond those three points, I see no reason why your other requests could not be actioned. Your best bet is to get in touch with Storm, or Sima, and direct them to this post. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 11:59, September 10, 2015 (UTC)

I NEED HELP

Hi I need help with an essay I have to write on Assassin's Creed. I have only played one game out of the series. But I happen have to sit there and disicfer the important gothic elements of Assassin's Creed. I was wondering the three rulers names in the beginning before the solar flare happened. I was trying to write the summary up really quick.

Uneccesary Databse Pages

Hi everyone,

Why are there duplicate pages for characters and locations with their database entries?

Wouldn't it just be simpler to include the database descriptions in the original apges?

Cheers

Robdavies1789 (talk) 20:12, March 13, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, there are no duplicate pages for characters and locations. Their database entries are different pages because they do not belong in the main page because database entries do not fit the encyclopedic nature of the main pages. These are better served as separate "Database: *" entrances linked from the Database page, which is currently undergoing a major restructuring. — Zero-ELEC (talk) 05:41, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

Khan111 (talk) 08:07, January 18, 2017 (UTC)khan111

Do you think we need a similar pages?

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_canon

Some fans do not understand the canon of the AC, and do not even know that the Cycle 1 is not a canon, and that game novels are only a semi-canon. What do you think?

Main page needs an update

  • The featured articles section is still identifying Al Mualim as Sinan.
  • Navbar needs adjusted for the addition of Tomb of the Khan, Fate of the Gods and Assassin's Creed: Oranges or something..?
  • This page on phones is still talking about the upcoming AC Chronicles India/Russia and Assassin's Creed: Victory!
