San giobbe

The Church of San Giobbe

The Church of San Giobbe (English: Saint Job) is located in the Cannaregio District of Venice. It was commissioned by Cristoforo Moro between 1450 and 1473 C.E.

One of the earliest examples of Renaissance architecture in Venice, this church was built for the residents of a nearby hospice by the doge buried inside, Cristoforo Moro.
