PL Truth SeekerHQ I wanted to ask you something. Which is… what's your name?

The title of this article is conjecture. Although canon, no official name for the subject of this article has been given.

This article is about Savonarola's lieutenant. You may be looking for the Animi Avatar.
"Don't you see?! The SIGNS are all around us: Unrest! Famine! Disease! Corruption! These are the harbingers of DARKNESS! We must stand firm in our devotion lest they CONSUME US ALL! I see you doubt; that you think me mad. Ahhhh... but did the Romans not say the same of Gesù? (Jesus?) Know that I, too, once shared your uncertainty. Your fear. But that was before Savonarola came to me. He showed me the TRUTH! At last, my eyes were OPENED. And so I stand before you today in the hope that I might open yours as well!"

Assassin's Creed II

The Preacher (unknown - 1497) was one of Girolamo Savonarola's nine lieutenants – men he put in charge to control Florence during the Bonfire of the Vanities; one who followed the Dominican friar without the manipulation of an Apple of Eden.

BiographyEdit

Rise to powerEdit

When Savonarola used the Apple of Eden he acquired to take control over Florence, his nine lieutenants enforced his will through their own specific positions, for which the Preacher was assigned to spread the word of Savonarola's ideals. Unlike most of the other lieutenants, the Preacher followed Savonarola out of his own will.

DeathEdit

At some point in 1497, the Preacher spoke before a crowd in front of a church, surrounded by guards who were ready to alert him when someone moved away from the crowd or made any attempt on his life. Despite this protection, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze was able to assassinate the Preacher. In his dying moments, the Preacher confirmed Ezio's suspicions of him having acted without manipulation.
