- In the purchase menu of general stores, a Royal Navy Sea Service Flintlock with the ramrod is erroneously used as the depiction of the Pirate Flintlock.
- In Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the Pirate Blunderbusses initially shared the same model as the Pirate Flintlock in promotional media, where they were depicted as the pistols of choice for the main protagonist Edward Kenway.
