The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or NASA, is responsible for aeronautic, aerospace, and space research. Officially an agency of the American government, it is in fact a Templar organization.
NASA was the agency responsible for the Apollo program which resulted in the first successful landing on the Moon. Unknown to the public, the first Moon landing retrieved an Apple of Eden from the lunar surface. At least one photograph released of the landing, displaying the Templar Buzz Aldrin performing solar wind experiments, was altered for release to the general public; the "plain white banner" shown concealed the Templar cross, and the American flag on the lunar lander hid the logo of Abstergo Industries.
