"Good sir, you look like you're having a bad day too. My back aches something terrible. I was attacked by a bear and haven't been able to work in months! My stomach is rumbling almost as loudly as that bear did. Now some of my customers are complaining, and... Uh oh!"
―Greear to Shay Cormac before being attacked by Assassins.[src]

Franklin Greear was an arms dealer in New York City during the mid-18th century.

At some point during the French and Indian War, the Colonial Assassins paid Greear for a shipment of weapons, but Greear repeatedly refused to deliver them. The Brotherhood sent agents to kill him, but he was protected by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac.
