- "Good sir, you look like you're having a bad day too. My back aches something terrible. I was attacked by a bear and haven't been able to work in months! My stomach is rumbling almost as loudly as that bear did. Now some of my customers are complaining, and... Uh oh!"
- ―Greear to Shay Cormac before being attacked by Assassins.[src]
Franklin Greear was an arms dealer in New York City during the mid-18th century.
At some point during the French and Indian War, the Colonial Assassins paid Greear for a shipment of weapons, but Greear repeatedly refused to deliver them. The Brotherhood sent agents to kill him, but he was protected by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac.
