After seeing the AC: black flag trailer, i coudnt help noticing the scene where edward dives underwater. it seems like a sensible thing to do, as most of the game will take place on the sea. in one screenshot i also saw whales. id like to see everybodys opinion in this.(Hazem kenway (talk) 12:07, March 3, 2013 (UTC))

I'm predicting that there are gonna be tons of references to PIrate novels, movies, stories, etc. Like Moby Dick, Treasure Isalnd, The Pirate King, that song "You are a Pirate," THE LIST GOES ON XD

Given the fact that the character who talks about Edward Kenway in the trailer is Blackbeard, here is a list from Wikipedia, of characters who, given the times that we are supplied by official news, we could meet:
-Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard (ca. 1679 – November 22, 1718)
-Alexander Selkirk, born Alexander Selcraig (1676 – Lower Largo, Atlantic Ocean, December 13, 1721)-Charles Vane (1680 – Port Royal, March 29, 1720) was an English pirate (note that dies in port royal)
-Edward Low (England, 1690 – Martinique, 1724)-Emanuel Wynne (1650 – France, Caribbean, approximately 1700) was a French pirate (maybe at the beginning of the game, who knows)

Swimming underwater and stuff is cool and all, but, honestly, I find myself more intrigued by the dual swords. I wonder if the combat will change in this game, or if Ubisoft just keeps AC3's dual-handed combat. ZBlue0 (talk) 02:22, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

No gameplay is splitted 60-40/land-naval, new hunting options i guess with the sealife

what i like for now:

i love the idea of 2 swords and 4 guns, hope it will be well developed,

Edward has blond hair nice for a change :P

a Pirate becoming an Assassin, guy who dont care who he kills becomes a guy.. you get where i go with this(interesting to me is.. If he is not our ancestor, will we be desync if we kill too many civs?)

it was said that Ubi are going back to the roots of AC with assassinating missions.. simple task.. achieve goal by any means.. i hope there will be no more stupid additional conditions which are additional but needed for 100% completion of the game,

there will be few islands that we can pop off to for a small killing spree or on hunting season if u get my gist:P
