I was playing AC1 on my PC again, and I noticed that after you get the Sword of Altair (the one with the brown leather handle), you have that for awhile, right? Well, after you get Defense Break, you get a sword that looks like the Sword of Altair, except that it has no brown leather handle! :o It's like the Sword of Altair from AC2 and Brotherhood (except a little larger). Does this mean there are four swords in AC1 instead of 3? Aegis RunestoneSpeak to me 22:13, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

It may be, but that does not mean that there are two Swords of Altair. The Sword of Altair was the one he modified himself using the apple, in addition, he was afraid that the innovations the apple gave him would be used against them, so it is unlikely that he modified another sword with the apple. There may be four swords in AC1 instead of 3, but it is still disputable. 09:02, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

There are four, the basic one which is just SoA without the 'wings', the SoA with leather wrap on the hilt, the one without it, and the Syrian sabre. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 12:22, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, though, it doesn't seem to do more damage than the normal SoA. I think it was made purely to show that Altair had Defense Break. Also, I realized it might not be a Sword of Altair because Al Mualim says "[This is] my gift to you..." Aegis RunestoneSpeak to me 23:49, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
