Right, I read on Sima's talk-page that this wiki hasn't agreed on when spoiler-tags should be removed. Well, I think three months would be a reasonable amount of time. What does everyone else think? The Crimson Eagle - Intercom 21:03, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

Comments/Other suggestions

  1. A better layout for this would be the way they decided the Apprentice requirements. Just let everyone comment with their answer and use the one with the most votes. I'd say 4 months would be a fair choice. ~ GI Auditore Comms Channel 23:04, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
  2. I'd say between 4-6 months, depending on the severity of spoilers contained within the article. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 01:31, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
  3. I agree that it should depend on the severity of the spoilers, probably 3 months for minor, 6 for major. But then we need some measurement for "severity". =GuardDog 01:47, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
    1. I agree with Guard. 3 for minor and 6 for major would be sufficient enough. Slate Vesper (talk) 21:00, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
  4. Well, this failed. The Crimson Eagle - Intercom 20:42, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
    1. Good idea to get a set policy, but a vote probably wasn't the way to go; a discussion would probably have been more effective in this particular case. Typically, I've always removed spoiler tags as close to the three month watershed as I've noticed them. We're an AC dedicated wiki, so I don't agree that we should cater to individuals who (in an extreme example) believe that every single article should have a spoiler tag on it, just in case somebody hasn't played Assassin's Creed I. I do feel, however, that three months is sufficient time for individuals who play the games, and contribute to the wiki (read: practically everybody) to avoid pages with spoilers until they've completed the game. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:26, September 28, 2012 (UTC)
