if anyone watched the leaked vid of the first 20 min(could not help myself) and noticed the list haytham is given of men who can help him in the colonies, there were two names that struck me as odd for an assassin to get help from, john pitcairn and william johnson, both are have previously been seen to be targets of connor and pitcairn a confirmed templar (perhaps everyone on the list is). was wondering if haytham actually was a templar rather than assassin or atleast manipulated by the templars into doing their work.
