You're both wrong! Edward's ship is the Jackdaw and its twice as big as the Aquilia when you first get it and as you upgrade it with more canons and crew members it gets bigger again. The Jackdaw is meant to the one of the biggest ships on the Caribbean. Watch the interviews on IGN with the lead wrtier and art director. While they COULD have pulled some shit where it turns out he had the Aquila and we would all go "Ohhh that's awesome".... but they want to make the ship bigger and better than it was in AC3, so it wouldn't make any sense if the ship was all awesome and huge in 1715 but then somehow got smaller in the course of 50 years.... oh and they explictedly say tha the ship was constructed in 1749.24.185.94.49 05:39, March 8, 2013 (UTC)

Exacally!! Plus, the navel stuff in AC3 was a teaser, to she how people reacted to it and I know I loved it! It was the best bit of AC3 - that and Haytham.
