I have just had a discussion with Mojola (the person in charge of our DeviantArt page) on the IRC and she suggested that we implement physical details such as hair and eye color into the character infobox in order to avoid mistakes being made regarding these subjects by fan communities, notably with mistakes concerning Altaïr's hair color and such. What do you think of this suggestion and should we implement it?
Yay
- As a fan who is used to Fanfics and Fanart (reading/seeing and making them), I see many mistakes regarding such subjects and that is annoying. It is possible to search the pics, but it'd be easier to just come to the wiki, many other wikis have such information in their infobox and I don't think it's crowded at all, I reckon is an, though not necessary, important information for fans (and not only for those who write or draw AC stuff). - Mojola 14:20, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
Nay
- Though I personally would want them to be cleared up, hair and eye color may be obvious to obtain from looking at pictures of the characters. Plus, I'd think the infobox may get too crowded. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 14:08, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Nadda. These days we can provide images with high enough resolution that these details can be spotted instantly. No need to crowd infoboxes with trivial information. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 14:26, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't think the information is important enough to put in the infoboxes... Nesty Contact me! 15:11, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

- While I'd like to support the art community here, I think such information in the infobox is unnecessary. While I'd suggest making a whole new space for such information in the fanon namespace, I don't think this idea will get much support either.--OdranoellutaTalk✲

- No. The infobox already contains all the information it requires, anything else would be superfluous and do nothing but mess up the first section of text found below said infoboxes on articles. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 17:31, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm a fan of the art work of AC and creating it but it would be unnecessary to change the current format in my opinion. Jasca makes a good point about it and any additional stuff like this would just be superfluous. -- ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 17:34, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I would add something, but what I could say has already been said. Slate Vesper 18:35, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't mind this being used for fanon, but this seems unnecessary for canon. I don't really have a problem either way, though. --The Leaping Eagle 08:42, July 9, 2012 (UTC)
- It just seems too unneeded from a wider perspective to be put in the character boxes. Maybie in the Trivia section? 82.145.209.19 20:17, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

- if this is only because some fanon editor wants to expand the amount of information available in the infobox on their fanon article then just create another template (here, I'll even put in a link for you to use: Template:Fanoncharacter Infobox) and add the necessary fields. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 17:33, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
