Today I was having my krav maga lesson and I thought to myself "What kind of fighting style do the assassin's use?". Is it mentioned anywhere or do they just learn plain "fighting skills"? And just so people don't point it out, I'm talking about fist fighting.22.214.171.124 21:59, November 26, 2012 (UTC)
I believe Connor uses a mixture of fighting styles all rolled into one, Krav Maga is one of them and Kali as well I think...other than that, your guess is as good as mine. Lucan07Haunt me...and Stuff 22:10, November 26, 2012 (UTC)
Assassins adapt to whatever is part of the norm of their culture, for instance, the Chinese Assassin Shao Jun primarily was trained in Wushu (That's Kung-Fu). A Russian Assassin might be trained in Judo or some other Russian based martial art, the Italians seemed to favor free style fighting or at least street brawling when it came to fists. Modern day Assassins is a different story however, because culture has changed... and if you live in North America, many cultures influence life there so every Modern day Assassin could have a different fighting style when compared to another Assassin of their calibre. It all depends on the trend and what's popular at the time... I wish you would pay more attention to the information here but otherwise... this should have been obvious...
It seems that they would do what SMA said (trends), along with whatever's most efficient (in the same vein as their parkour). I'd imagine modern day Chinese Assassins, along with factions all over the world, would use Wing Chun King Fu. Not flashy, just straight to the point. :) Zelseus (talk) 06:59, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
I assume that all assassins are trained in parkour and free running. And of course the hidden blade. But the style depends on the time, place and period. For example the way Shao jun fights is different from the way Ezio fights. Rotionpotion (talk) 04:31, December 5, 2012 (UTC)
