Who do you guys think will be the protagonist and what would be the main idea of the storyline? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.105.31.233 (talk)

I don't like the sound of London since it feels so repetitive and a bit too modern. (If they wanted a setting in the 19th-century, I'd choose the Far East since its not as developed). Anyway, I'm thinking it will shine a light on the royal family, and I guess there will be alot of mysteries to solve. Imagine a detective-style, James Bond-like Assassin's Creed game. London had an overcrowding problem, so suspect that there will be immense crowds and lots of activity. The bad thing about choosing the Victorian era is that everything is all peaceful and heavenly. If the French Revolution was a roaring dinosaur, the Victorian era would be a bear in hibernation. DanChan123 04:56, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

The Victorian era of london was definetly not "peaceful and heavenly" You had the rich fucks at the top controlling every working man and their families, prostitutes oh and not to mention JACK THE RIPPER "oh look there is a killer loose let's celebrate" maybe you should think and do your history before commenting.  Also There is a reason they call it the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION  As it all started in London.

Don't fly off the handle. You should also mind your language next time, and to sign your posts: we want this wiki to look professional.<theproclamation> (talk) 23:40, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

Not sure about the protagonist but I'm pretty sure he comes in contact with a Sage in his life (or he may be a Sage himself, interesting twist) as the plot is now focussed on finding Sages (I think).

19th Century London was certainly not "peaceful and heavenly" but nor was it an absolute mess like Revolutionary France. We'll certainly be in London after 1858 seeing as Big Ben's clock tower has been built (seen in the leaked images) but that doesn't mean we'll be hearing of Jack the Ripper (around 1888). Not quite sure what to expect from this game given that it's after the end of the Industrial Revolution (generally considered to have lasted from around 1775 - 1850) and before the 20th Century so not really in a period of any real upheaval or conflict in Britain, just overcrowding and poverty in the larger cities. Hopefully we'll meet the royal family though if Victory is as shunning of historical events as Unity was (when even did the Revolution happen?) I'm not hopeful we will. Meeting Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would be interesting and could also put us in the timeframe to have some Murder Mystery missions based on Jack the Ripper. There'll obviously be a Sage somewhere now that Ubi have well and truly gone down that route after the "end of the world" story arc (which I much preferred, but there you go). I'm looking forward to Victory but also concerned; I've been wanting an AC set in Victorian London for some time but now one is being made I'm terrified of it being messed up.  - kabutsu Enter the Animus The Crimson Polls II 17:04, January 10, 2015 (UTC)

Requirements:

  • An actual modern day storyline, the addition of this would've brought Unity from medicrocy to good for me.
  • Multiple locations, that are actually worth revisiting. Not Versailles in Unity, it was nice but meh. Though Rome was good, going to the countryside really felt like an entirely new place, London has some good boroughs and two cities in it, but Manchester and such were also important and increasingly so during the time and definetly distinct, though why not Berlin?
  • Don't screw up Jack the Ripper, everyones going on about it, they've worked it out who it was through timings, location and witness accounts. But yes it could be turned into a conspiracy but there's better ones that are less known i'm sure.
  • Meet Karl Marx, ripe for controvorsy by portraying him as a good figure, the capitalist news media certainly wouldn't like that ;)

Also there was a lot of social unrest in Victorian Britian it was just staved off by the early 1900s revolution (just not the bloody kind) (and not that radical but radical enough to get things going) (I mean the liberal reforms btw)Bobemor (talk) 18:34, January 12, 2015 (UTC)
