One theory of how we will be exploring Edward's memories is that Abstergo will be using Desmond's dead dude DNA but my main question to that is, if it is true where did they get the Animus upgrade and assuming they have the apple wouldn't that be as form of cop out saying the apple told them?--HijoDeAguila (talk) 23:48, March 3, 2013 (UTC)
- It isn't a 'theory', though I have no idea what you were trying to say in the second half of your sentence. -- Master Sima Yi Clogs 23:51, March 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I think he means "wouldn't/couldn't the Apple of Eden be used to hold Desmond's DNA?"
- In answer to the question: No. I don't think so. THE CRIMSON EAGLE 00:00, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
- I think his question is more along the lines of: "If it's Abstergo who's responsible for reliving Edward's memories, where or how did the get the Animus upgrade , and is it possible they gained knowledge of the upgrade through the Apple." While I'm pretty sure that's his question, I have no way of answering it, since I have no idea what this upgrade is. -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 00:05, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
IlMualim has it right on the money! Thank you for translating.--HijoDeAguila (talk) 00:52, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
ok call me dumb, but the question is... how or from where did Abstergo got an upgraded version of Animus called Animus Cloud??.... ITS FECKIN ABSTERGO!!! Dudes own technologic companies, THEY INVENTED the god damn upgrade! its not like Becca(ya.. we are on friendly terms) was the only one able to upgrade Animus, she said it herself that last time she had help from some friends, so they didnt need an Apple...Its like asking how on God's green Earth Stevie Jobs got 4 versions of iPhones, or Iphone in the first place....maybe..nahh thats just too far fetched...Anyhow I like the idea that Dessie is stored somewhere and and all his dna data is out there like pics on instagram so we can relieve memories of awesome Assassins, my theory is that maybe we will learn the location of Des so in the next game or smthn we will be able to rescue his dead a** and let him rest in peace... i wonder.. it that was the plan from the begining or did they altered the script along the way...

Marchewsky's partly right (if you can get over all the Caps Lock statements). You don't need an Apple to upgrade the Animus, since Rebecca upgraded it. But March is wrong in stating that they "INVENTED" it, they just reinvented the Animus through the Pieces of Eden. -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 23:43, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
The ones who came before invented the Animus. My problem and this is what I'm asking is how did Abstergo jump to what im assuming is the animus 4.0 when they were stuck on animus 1.0 for 20/30 years?--HijoDeAguila (talk) 23:49, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
IlMualim sorry for the CAP; but I did not say 'the invention of the Animus' as much of the upgrade?! then again which POEs they had used? I thought that you need 1st Civ's DNA to be able to wield at least the Apple(which afaik was the only vision projecting device, is there any other POE with that ability or infact artefact which let you upgrade stuff;P) which mean there would be an Abstergo member with TWCB DNA. (don't hate me if im wrong)Marchewsky (talk) 00:39, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
You dont need TWCB DNA to use the apple just to fully exploite it. I just really hope answer my question.--HijoDeAguila (talk) 05:00, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
You don't need the DNA to use the Apple. AlMualim used it, Rodrigo used it, etc. The ones with the right genes simply wield it better.
As for the question you asked, they can upgrade as easily as Rebecca does, considering they have more money, more time, etc. -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 12:45, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
They just have 'less imagination.' The Guru Assassin (talk) 19:42, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, so instead of a cool, new combat and free-running system, they would probably have some boring new synchronization meter. =) -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 01:00, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
Also, absolutely no swimming. I mean at all if you get in the water you die. Lol--HijoDeAguila (talk) 01:42, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah. Since I played AC1 after 2, I sorely missed the ability to swim wherever you want. -- IlMualim Wanna Chat? 01:44, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
That sucks thd fact you could swim in AC2 made a huge difference. Don't tell me that would not be funny (for at least 5 mins) if AC4, a pirate themed game you couldn't swim.--HijoDeAguila (talk) 01:50, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
