Can anyone help me? Assassin's Creed - Director's Cut is not working anymore.
I updated my graphic drivers yesterday, and the game worked fine. Then, I turn my computer on today, make some windows updates, and then try to load up ACDC.
It crashes at the Ubisoft logo. T_T Nothing I do fixes it. I got this error:

Did you restart your PC after updating your graphics drivers? Some things take a reset to come into effect. If your PC has System Restore enabled, just go to the Start Menu and type System Restore in the search bar, select it and follow the instructions. This will revert your PC to a point defined by you (you will not lose data, only system changes will be reverted) and could possibly fix the problem help and/or you identify what caused it in the first place. Let me know if it works out. ~ GI Auditore Talk to me maybe? 14:04, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! I did restart my PC. I found out that actually, the driver updates were what made it stop working because I went back to the older ones, and AC works now. I really want it to work with the newer drivers, but... all my games work fine with the older version so... but still, gog.com needs to address this issue. Exactly as I thought, which is why I suggested System Restore in the first place. It's ironic how updating stuff to the "better" version sometimes causes issues like this. I have Windows Update turned off on my laptop purely because it makes Halo 2 stop working. Good to know your issue is resolved. =) ~ GI Auditore Talk to me maybe? 14:42, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Holy crap, I found the problem! Now I can play with the new drivers! Basically, I just have to disconnect from the internet, and THEN play ACDC, and it works fine. :) Aegis RunestoneSpeak to me 21:04, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
