The Chilean Rite of the Templar Order is the branch of the Templar Order that operates in Chile.

History

In 1973, Abstergo Industries, the primary public front of the modern-day Templar Order, secretly supported and manipulated General Augusto Pinochet into taking over Chile from President Salvador Allende via a coup d'état, as Allende intended to give Chile's corporations to the people, which would have taken them away from the hands of Abstergo. Masterminded by Henry Kissinger, the coup proved successful, and Allende, supposedly, commited suicide during the plot.
