Hello all! I'm at E3 as part of their Star Player program. Should anyone have any questions for Ashraf, Jean or anyone else I might run into, ask them here and I'll try to get them answered.
Not sure if this is the best place to ask but, how do we know that Bayek is married in Origins? We didn't get an indication that he was married. Apparently he's married to Aya, but I am sceptical of this, do we have any sources?
The IGN article was the first to mention this, IIRC. Considering how IGN has been doing the AC Origins coverage over the past month, it's safe to assume that that info is legit. Though, I think I might've heard Ashraf as well confirming this in one of the interviews.
According to Ubisoft, there were just two npc models (one male and one female) that were fully naked and some npc female models were not wearing panties. The team behind WT2's development did a patch to censor the genitalia of those characters because first parties (Sony... SONY) were banning players just for sharing images of them using the system's capture function.
So, if the terms of conducts says that you may not share female nipples, then the game must adapt to it and cover the female body. Not for children's sake, but for the first parties' policy. (I don't know why, but with South Park's The Stick of Truth sex scene that didn't happened) :/
If Origins features nudity, then Ubi knows what they're doing and I'm sure they are not going to stumble upon the same stone.
You know what else I am wondering? Will Thebes be an accessible big city in Origins? Will it just be Memphis and Alexandria as the biggest cities? Thebes was also quite prominent during Cleopatra's time.
I don't think so :(. I don't think it will be even featured in Origins because, based on the accesible region of the game, the map ends in the southern part (close to Desheret Desert) which is a little far from Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, Luxor and the Karnak temple :(

I know and it makes no sense because Thebes is one of the most significant ancient Egyptian cities if not the most significant. :( I find it unbelievable we won't actually be visiting the Karnak Temple or the Valley of the Kings.
I'm pretty sure the Valley of Kings will be DLC, and Thebes also. Though Ashaf said that the whole of Egypt was accessible... maybe the map is just part of the demo, and they haven't released the full thing yet, to avoid spoilers. We haven't seen gameplay footage in Alexandria after all.

You're right. A the very least, with Thebes and the Valley of Kings as significant as they are, it's hard to imagine they won't be part of DLC.
I have a question: Why is Kyrene in the wrong place? I realize the map is condensed in size for gameplay and data storage purposes, but assuming the city in the Kyenaika region on the north-west edge of the map is Kyrene (which it is possible it could not be), it's waaaay too far east. IRL, Kyrene is near the modern village of Shahhat, almost 500 miles west of Alexandria.
