Hey guys. Well, I just found out about it but Assassin's Creed Monopoly was announced some time ago, and is exclusive to Europe.
Yes. They are making an Assassin's Creed-based monopoly game.
The playable characters are:
- Altair Ibn-La'Ahad
- Ezio Auditore da Firenze
- Aveline de Grandpré
- Edward Kenway
- Arno Dorian
Do you think you get voted into it, do you think you achieve the rank by achieving better skills and by how much you have done for the order, do you think members are chosen by the council itself?
With what the Assassin order stands for, you'd think it might be by a democracy, but the Assassin Brotherhood has traditionally been operated by more of a dictatorship that is passed down from Mentor to Mentor (another irony and contradiction in the Assassin's Creed) in the individual sections of the Brotherhood (with the modern day only have the single Mentor over all, and he was practically worshiped), and the way the French Brotherhood operates is new and unique to the way the Brotherhood as operated in the past.
It's very curious, and do you th…Read more >
The world of Assassin's Creed is so cool because it spans the whole of the globe and the whole of history. There are so many stories to tell about Assassins and Templars from so many different historical settings.
Ubisoft recently released Assassin's Creed: Memories which is an ok game. The game is mediocre in my opinion but what's really cool about it is that it has introduced a few new Assassins from entirely new periods.
William of Cassingham and Robert Fitzwalter from medieval England Hattori Hanzo from Japan's Sengoku period And I'm sure there are many more to come.
The problem with Memories is that whilst it has introduced some new Assassins to us, it's quite limited in terms of telling us about the lives of these characters. …Read more >
So, has anyone seen this? Apparently from the Beta Testing/QA for the co-op component, there are many levels, each with a different Assassin/Playable Character. Images show what appear to be Shao Jun, Aveline, Haytham, Rodrigo Borgia(!), etc.
Also videos from the Beta Test are out.
Keep in mind that the some of people who've come out and shown these have been confirmed as participating in the beta, although there are mixed reports, others, also confirmed, claiming the multiple Assassins thing is false.
So take all this (except the video, video seems to be legit) with a massive amount of sodium.
EDIT: On closer inspection the image may be complete bull, considering it reuses renders from other media. Even Shao Yun seems to be a cr…Read more >

One thing has been pretty constant throughout the entire series; the Assassins get some pretty cool hideouts. Which was your favorite? 'Though I have no side of the war in Palestine/Israel, I believe that this is the perfect time for a reformation of the Assassin Order. And with this I see an amazing game idea that could either make or break Ubisoft and the Assassin's Creed franchise. We could even go back to Masyaf since Syria is directly above the Palestinian geographical region.
'The game could go 10-20 years in the future but say the war is still going on, and syria is now a major part siding with Palestine (Or Israel). Someone has purchased Masyaf castle and is using it to reform the Assassins. Ex-military and Palestinian civilians are coming to Masyaf for training in guerilla warfare. So obviously the Assassin's now know how to kill someone with a blade, and they com…Read more >
After months of rumours related to Assassin's Creed: Comet, and most recently Assassin's Creed: Rogue, the game has finally been confirmed. The game stars the Assassin-turned Templars Shay Patrick Cormac, operating around the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War, hunting down his former Assassin brothers.
Cormac's travels take him to the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean, but also to a reimagined New York and the . His story will also be related to that of the Kenways, and Shay will also play a notable role in the story of Assassin's Creed: Unity.
The game is slated for release on 11 November 2014. Check out the world premiere trailer here.
This confirms earlier rumours that surfaced around the time we first heard of Assassin's Creed: Unity…

Hello. Before I begin discussing the blog's topic, I am new here, so you'll have to forgive me for not creating a blog with an attractive format like some of the admins and other experienced users.
Right, I see quite a lot of threads and forums that throw out historical settings for an Assassin's Creed game though rarely do I see the original poster or commenters discuss what specifically can be done with these settings for an Assassin's Creed game in terms of story, gameplay, etc. I have three settings for an Assassin's Creed game that I will pitch (in a rather rough manner) in three separate articles, with this one focusing solely on the first. The ideas I will present are not very in depth though they are meant to incite fan discussio…Read more >
Hey guys. lately I've been watching the interviews for AC unity and I came across something I don't like. One of the developers revealed that the classic white rooms will be taken from the next game. let me be the first to say that I hate this! I loved the white rooms because both the assassin and his or her target could confess and connect on a certain level. For me this humanized the Templars and assassins both. Instead a new mechanic will take its place. the developer explained it as the targets life flashing through their eyes right before the blade hits. This will be used instead of the target confessing info or the assassins finding a letter or document on the body. Unity seams like its breaking a lot of AC traditions. In some ways i…Read more >
So thanks to BBC iPlayer, I watched ', Jason Reitman's critically-acclaimed 2009 comedy-drama, which Jeffrey Yohalem cited as an influence on the script for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
At first the stories appear to be poles apart: ACB is about a Master Assassin bringing about the fall of the Borgia Papacy, while Up in the Air is about a bloke sent by a firm to fire people on behalf of bosses too cowardly to sack their own employees. That bloke is portrayed by , who like Ezio, famously possesses a Golden Age Hollywood charm despite getting on in years (and he even portrayed Batman, one of the inspirations for Ezio, in the infamous Batman and Robin).
However, both stories about men too clearly stuck in the comfort and luxuries their dirty jobs…Read more >

I've seen people arguing that Connor will be in AC unity and i say enoug people accept it Connor will not be in Unity but then your wondering how can Arno be related to Desmond if Connor was Desmods ancestor in that century maybe from his mothers ancestor's well this may (remember that i said may) shock you but Ubisoft has confirmed that Arno isn't even related to Desmond making him the 3rd playable character that isn't related to Desmond, the 1st being Aveline & 2nd being Adewale. Hey fellow Assassins here I wanted to talk about the combat in Assassin's Creed and things Ubisoft should consider bringing back to their next game.(as they no doubt finished working on AC:U)
This skill is what made the enemies in the game actually dangerous which is not prevalent description of enemies in future games. This skill did not allow the player to stand idle and just hold the action button as higher level enemies, such as templars or captains, can break your defense and get a free hit on you unless you dodge. This free hit usually follows up with a heavy attack then a punch in the face, which would take the player health down a tremendous amount if not proficient in combat. This skill is also provided to the player and is great i…

Throughout the assassins creed franchise, the story has always went the same basic route of putting you in the shoes of an assassin slaying the corrupt Templars one by one. yet this whole time Ubisoft has clung to the idea that both the assassins and Templars both mean well and are both good and bad in different ways, in my view though the assassins are easily given the title of the good guys. but this isn't what ubisoft had in mind.
We are supposed to be questioning ourselves constantly what side we think is right........... but we don't. I mean who honestly thinks the Templar personalities are more righteous or better than the assassins? anyone? what we need is the unthinkable.

You may or may not have noticed that, a while back, there was a community vote regarding the removal of all fanon articles from this wiki and move everything to a separate wiki. The vote passed through, and since then we have been working on making the move happen. The wiki has now been created, and we are in the process of making it look nice and shiny.
Since the separate wiki now exists, we will start moving all fanons there (after all, that was the reason it was created). Because of that, you are discouraged from creating new fanon articles on this wiki, since it would leave us with even more work than it already is. If you wish to create a fanon story or gallery, please do so on the the new wiki.

WIth all of the school shootings that are happening today, parents blame them on violent video games like AC, but no one kills a person because of AC. Most of those shootings are because of mental issues. Us teens are smart enough to know that video games are not real, but still cool. Yet parents have tried so much to stop violent video games. My mom use to have a rule: no killing people and no blood in games. I feel that parents think we will just go killing people because we saw it on tv. Good thing parents haven't banned violent video games altogether. My dad is a pain in the butt, so if you can comment and tell me what I did wrong or what you liked, that would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time.
In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio goes to Asia to find more answers about Altair. When he finds the Assassins, they introduce him to the Hook Blade. The Hook Blade can trip enemies that are running, grab on to ledges, attach onto ziplines, and hook onto lanterns to swing through the city. But it can also stab people just like a regular hidden blade. With such an ingenious device, why was it not there in AC3 and AC4? Did t…

When we first met Leonardo da Vinci in number two, Ezio thought of him as a friend of his mom's. Then, when Ezio became an Assassin, he relied on Leonardo more and more, making them two close friends throughout number 2 and Brotherhood. The last you see of him is when he sells you supplies to climb better in Brotherhood. But in Revelations, you do not see him at all. Leonardo died on May 2, 1519, so historically, he was still alive during the time period of Revelations. But yet not a mention of his name, what happened? It's like they totally erased him from the game. I know Ezio was in a different place, but he didn't even speak of him. Ubisoft should have at least mentioned Leonardo in Revelations because he was so important in number 2 a…Read more >
Well both games are quite similar but I thing AC IV is more difficult I really like the soldier variations they are the same in both games-the musketeer (which shoots you from a distance but is weak as ****ing **** when you come near him), the brute/headbutter (everyone hates this guy), the Officer/Captain (same as the headbutter but also has a gun) and the "Poor guy we Air-Assassinate". What i like about BF but not about III is the number of ammo we can carry in our pouch-in BF you can carry 20 bullets (cartridges) and also a large number (10?) of darts and bombs. In III however you only have 8 bullets, 8 arrows, 3 bombs, 5 rope darts---THE BEST WEAPON EVER, and 5 other darts (i think).

There is a question. A question who had been at the top of my head since I played AC: Brotherhood. An unresolved question which leads to what I call the greatest untold mystery in the Assassin's Creed narrative. It's a question I have been waiting for a long time to be answered, BUT... But it never came. It was not until I arrived to the conclusion of AC III that I realized there was something wrong. For the question is: Who is Desmond Miles' son and what is his purpose?
For those of you who have no idea about what I'm talking, let's get the clock back. In Brotherhood, much likely the Glyphs in ACII, you can find what they call the Rifts, which when you found them all gave you access to the Miracle, a short parkour game within the Animus ma…Read more >

So I have given it some thought and what if shay is actually a kenway? here's an idea I had, what if 1758 is the start date for AC comet but we actually start the game as Haytham? we play as him for maybe a sequence or 2 and then that can lead into the birth of shay in say 1760, connors birth date was 1756 so they would be of a similar age. we can see an actual father son relationship between shay and haytham as haytham passes down the templar philosophy to him and trains him.
This can add a level of grey morality, they can make shay an extremely likable character despite being a templar which will further solidify ubi's wish to show both sides as equally right (as at the moment the general idea with people who play the game is really assas…Read more >

I would not like to blame Ubisoft, but things are not going very well for them since 2012, at least concerning the Assassin's Creed saga to speak the truth.
Back in 2012, you might remember or at least have heard of that guy named John L. Beiswenger. Well, I guess. Does this name ring any bells to you ? If not, let me remind you. On April 16th 2012, Mr Beiswenger, a dreadful writer and a so called product research engineer sued Ubisoft for having taken, as he claimed, major elements from his very much awful book Link to create the plot of the Assassin's Creed series, such as Christian religion, gods, the forbidden fruit and a machine supposed to be similar to the Animus. Fortunately (for us), the case was not strong enough and Beiswenger had to …Read more >
I don't understand all of the hype relating to an Assassin's Creed in Japan. How would Ubisoft even incorporated the whole Assassins theme into any time period of Japan (specifically Fuedal Japan). Japan already had its own "assassins" - ninjas (unless you're telling me the ninjas WERE the Assassins, which would lead to shoddy one-dimensional gameplay extremely similar to other ninja games). There's just too many things wrong with making an AC game set in Japan, and on top of what I've already mentioned, a game set is Japan is the #1 game that Ubisoft WON'T make, as it's what everyone expects the most.

E3 2014 has ended and I have to say my experience was phenomenal. I got the chance to get live demos of numerous Ubisoft games as well as hands on and heres what I have to say.
While I would have loved to play the game, we were shown the four player Co-op gameplay that was shown at the Microsoft Press Conference as well as Singleplayer gameplay. One notable difference was that the gameplay was live and we were being talked through it.
The first notable aspect of the game is its beauty. It looks as pretty as a live action trailer of Assassin's Creed and works great too. With the release of next-gen, Ubisoft can now add crowds of people to the game in comparison to the crowds of Dead Rising.
While the Co-Op video didnt showcase anything differe…Read more >

It also bad because it takes away from the story. This can be fixed by having a different company or section of Ubisoft work on it separately.
