when walking around Colonial America in Assassins Creed 3, I look at all the British Flags flapping in the wind, I realised that they are historically incorrect since they have the Cross of St Patrick decorated with the English and Scottish flags that make the Union Flag, Ireland did not join the British till 1801 so I dont get why the Irish flag is apart of the Union Flag in colonial America.....did anyone else notice this?

So two months ago, I saw the unofficial trailer of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag- the next installation in the Assassin's Creed series- and I might say I was mighty impressed. I really have no idea how to start this. All I will say is thank you for picking me as the successor to Crimson and his Crimson Polls™. Of course, due to the voting being so tight, I will likely ask Wolf to fill in from time-to-time when I can't. So I've been checking some of the AC4 news lately and the fact that you/me/him/her is going to be the new modern day protagonist actually brought a discussion to the subject and I realized that desmond was killed off more likely because people didn't like him ..

This is just speculation, but I have doubts that Edward Kenway is actually an assassin. Don't worry, I have my reasons. This isn't just random headcanon. This is unfinished. It would be great to have playthroughs and all with 100% accuracy, similar to GTASeriesVideo  or BatmanArkhamVideo , based on the games, books, articles from this wiki etc.

I know that SickSteeny tried that with "The Story So Far" but he never finished it.

Quite a pointless blog today. But I was interested what you guys' favourite game is.

I am perfectly aware that for many people it will be an Assassin's Creed game, but that's not always the case. My favourite game is Dishonored, for example.

If the massive majority pick an Assassin's Creed game then this blog is pointless. But I don't think this will be the case.

Hey, I'm Elecbullet, an admin at w:c:wolfenstein and w:c:community. But once upon a time, way back in 2009, I was an active editor on this wiki.

I have not played any of the games in years (and in fact, I only played AC1, barely AC2, and nothing beyond that...). As such, I haven't really had any part on this wiki in a few years, yet I'm happy to see it has grown so large. Way back in 2009, when I was around, there were very few users on the wiki. It was certainly smaller and less organized than it is today. I created a few pages I guess and uploaded a bunch of files. I still get users saying "hey that navbox you made is useful" and I can't remember what on Earth they're talking about.

I can't be the only person here that loves the outfit from The Tyranny of King Washington. I mean, it's fantastic.

I wanna know, would anyone be interested in perhaps making a petition to ubisoft for the outfit to be in the main game?

I think the best bet would be to replace the Kanienkehaka outfit with it. It looks many, many times better. Or perhaps put it at the centre of the room where there's that armor stand that you see the original armor, and then Achilles' armor.

All I know is that I want to finish the main game wearing that outfit and that it would be much better that way.

Okay, I had this theory that I wanted to discuss. In ACIII, when Juno explained the ways they tried to save themselves from the impending solar apocalypse. She stored her mind in the Grand Temple, by inputting her thought patterns and the like in its walls and structure or wherever. When Desmond "died" and he saved Earth and freed Juno, how could she return without a physical body? I think when Minerva told Desmond would "die", she talked about his thoughts, his personality, everything that made Desmond Desmond. And that got replaced by Juno. So Juno took over Desmond's body. At least, that's my theory. What do you think?

I'm not sure that I'm the first to see this... But Haytham's hidden blade (the left one?) is exactly the same as Connor's construction wise. It has a pivot! Does this explain the ToKW DLC where Connor hers Haytham's blades. That's why it pivots. "A thousand pardons" if this has already been noticed and discussed.

Assassin’s Creed Duel concept work appears online Concept work for something called Assassin’s Creed Duel has been listed as part of a portfolio belonging to former artist and UI designer for Ubisoft.

Dug up by NeoGAF, according to a portfolio belonging to Benoit Perreault, who now works for Eidos.

The working title was listed for PSN and XBLA, and while the images hold the disclaimer that the images posted are “not a game”, the shots are located in a “Projects” section in his industry portfolio. He worked at Ubisoft for seven years.

The game appears to have been a 2.5D fighter, based on the images, and at present we’re assuming the game was in concept form only and either axed or put on hold.

Since I spend almost my whole days at home I watch a lot of documentaries and in one of then I saw the 'Dark light' or 'Ultraviolet light', it si capable of showing things invisible to our eyes. Suddenly a question came into my mind: Is the Eagle sense a biological Dark light?

Eagle sense is capable of revealing invisible thing almost identically as the Dark light does with some add ups, like identifying targets. Maybe the First Civilization biologically developed it just like some types of birds, the only differences betwen the Eagle sense and the Dark light are that the Dark Light does not show targets nor who's friend of foe or show weak points, apart from that it's everything almost the same, even the blueish is almost the same!

Due to an image request, I played through The Lost Archive DLC (again).

Far as I’ve been able to gather, said DLC’s not exactly popular amongst fans of the AC franchise, for whatever reason. If that’s truly the case, it’s a pity, imo.

You see, for me, TLA’s probably the piece I’ve most enjoyed in this franchise.

Last night, while finishing up with it, I began to think about the reasons for that.

It’s a first-person platformer, the format of which seems to at first make me nauseous before my body adjusts to the visuals. Despite that, and partially because of it, I love the DLC.

Why?

Because it reminds me of cyberpunk and jacking in.

Because it’s visualized hacking and telling a story via how it seemed like versus photorealism.

Because it’s symbolic…

Yeah, Black Flag is coming and this time I'm trully exited to play it, so much I already added it into my list of the games I'll buy. 

Edward seems to be as insteresting as Ezio was, and there will surelly going to have a HUGE map to travel with a lot of damn animals to slaughter! Ubisoft Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat has informed that he believes there's no fear of the Assassin's Creed franchise becoming stale anytime soon.

"No, the players will tell us," Mallat said. "Right now there are more and more coming into the franchise so I don't see that happening.

After playing the Lost Archive DLC I can't help but feel that the lucy templar twist thing was a sudden change or heart for the people writing the main story of assassins creed , and that it wasn't supposed to happen that way when they first thought about making the franchise ! 

I mean She seemed to be really nice and I think at the beginning she was supposed to become a love interest for desmond , all those little moments back in Abstergo in AC1 and exploring the caves underneath the auditore villa . 

I think all of this happened because they realized that the fans had very little interest in the story of desmond , so they escalated these events quickly to get them all out of the way , one by one !
