WIth all of the school shootings that are happening today, parents blame them on violent video games like AC, but no one kills a person because of AC. Most of those shootings are because of mental issues. Us teens are smart enough to know that video games are not real, but still cool. Yet parents have tried so much to stop violent video games. My mom use to have a rule: no killing people and no blood in games. I feel that parents think we will just go killing people because we saw it on tv. Good thing parents haven't banned violent video games altogether. A wise man once said, “If Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.” ― Marcus Brigstocke That…Read more >
Before I tell you my opinion on the Hook Blade, I would like to say one thing. My dad is making me write a blog every day because he thinks my writing is terrible. My dad is a pain in the butt, so if you can comment and tell me what I did wrong or what you liked, that would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time.
In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio goes to Asia to find more answers about Altair. When he finds the Assassins, they introduce him to the Hook Blade. The Hook Blade can trip enemies that are running, grab on to ledges, attach onto ziplines, and hook onto lanterns to swing through the city. But it can also stab people just like a regular hidden blade. With such an ingenious device, why was it not there in AC3 and AC4? Did t…

During an interactive conversation during Assassin's Creed 3, an french-american general was talking about Paris and stuff and then he said he would bring Connor to Paris with him after the war. I'm pretty sure he survived and Unity takes place in Paris around the same time so maybe we could be seeing Connor in Unity?Read more >
When we first met Leonardo da Vinci in number two, Ezio thought of him as a friend of his mom's. Then, when Ezio became an Assassin, he relied on Leonardo more and more, making them two close friends throughout number 2 and Brotherhood. The last you see of him is when he sells you supplies to climb better in Brotherhood. But in Revelations, you do not see him at all. Leonardo died on May 2, 1519, so historically, he was still alive during the time period of Revelations. But yet not a mention of his name, what happened? It's like they totally erased him from the game. I know Ezio was in a different place, but he didn't even speak of him. Ubisoft should have at least mentioned Leonardo in Revelations because he was so important in number 2 a…Read more >
Well both games are quite similar but I thing AC IV is more difficult I really like the soldier variations they are the same in both games-the musketeer (which shoots you from a distance but is weak as ****ing **** when you come near him), the brute/headbutter (everyone hates this guy), the Officer/Captain (same as the headbutter but also has a gun) and the "Poor guy we Air-Assassinate". What i like about BF but not about III is the number of ammo we can carry in our pouch-in BF you can carry 20 bullets (cartridges) and also a large number (10?) of darts and bombs. In III however you only have 8 bullets, 8 arrows, 3 bombs, 5 rope darts---THE BEST WEAPON EVER, and 5 other darts (i think).

There is a question. A question who had been at the top of my head since I played AC: Brotherhood. An unresolved question which leads to what I call the greatest untold mystery in the Assassin's Creed narrative. It's a question I have been waiting for a long time to be answered, BUT... But it never came. It was not until I arrived to the conclusion of AC III that I realized there was something wrong. For the question is: Who is Desmond Miles' son and what is his purpose?
For those of you who have no idea about what I'm talking, let's get the clock back. In Brotherhood, much likely the Glyphs in ACII, you can find what they call the Rifts, which when you found them all gave you access to the Miracle, a short parkour game within the Animus ma…Read more >

So I have given it some thought and what if shay is actually a kenway? here's an idea I had, what if 1758 is the start date for AC comet but we actually start the game as Haytham? we play as him for maybe a sequence or 2 and then that can lead into the birth of shay in say 1760, connors birth date was 1756 so they would be of a similar age. we can see an actual father son relationship between shay and haytham as haytham passes down the templar philosophy to him and trains him.
This can add a level of grey morality, they can make shay an extremely likable character despite being a templar which will further solidify ubi's wish to show both sides as equally right (as at the moment the general idea with people who play the game is really assas…Read more >
Is this just Connor's initiation into the Brotherhood or has he also become a Master Assassin, because in Italy when the Assassin's were fully inducted into the Assassin Order it mean't they were a Master Assassin. In which they have a ceremony and that was what Achilles was refering to.

Lucy is the women that helps Desmond in the first three games. She claims that she don't like Abstergo and in AC2 she comes to help Desmond get out. Then you meet her friends that are the Assassins. Then when Desmond trusts her most he kills her because the apple made him. For the next two ACs player wonder why the apple made Desmond do that. But then In AC3 Desmond says that Lucy was going to take the apple back to Abstergo and he choise to kill her. But one thing I thought of was when he told Lucys friends, wouldn't they be mad? Or even think that's not true because they were best friends with lucy? And why wouldn't they be in on it to? Never the less the friends where dedicated on stoping Abtergo and saving the world. I would not like to blame Ubisoft, but things are not going very well for them since 2012, at least concerning the Assassin's Creed saga to speak the truth.
Back in 2012, you might remember or at least have heard of that guy named John L. Beiswenger. Well, I guess. Does this name ring any bells to you ? If not, let me remind you. On April 16th 2012, Mr Beiswenger, a dreadful writer and a so called product research engineer sued Ubisoft for having taken, as he claimed, major elements from his very much awful book Link to create the plot of the Assassin's Creed series, such as Christian religion, gods, the forbidden fruit and a machine supposed to be similar to the Animus. Fortunately (for us), the case was not strong enough and Beiswenger had to …Read more >
I don't understand all of the hype relating to an Assassin's Creed in Japan. How would Ubisoft even incorporated the whole Assassins theme into any time period of Japan (specifically Fuedal Japan). Japan already had its own "assassins" - ninjas (unless you're telling me the ninjas WERE the Assassins, which would lead to shoddy one-dimensional gameplay extremely similar to other ninja games). There's just too many things wrong with making an AC game set in Japan, and on top of what I've already mentioned, a game set is Japan is the #1 game that Ubisoft WON'T make, as it's what everyone expects the most.

E3 2014 has ended and I have to say my experience was phenomenal. I got the chance to get live demos of numerous Ubisoft games as well as hands on and heres what I have to say.
While I would have loved to play the game, we were shown the four player Co-op gameplay that was shown at the Microsoft Press Conference as well as Singleplayer gameplay. One notable difference was that the gameplay was live and we were being talked through it.
The first notable aspect of the game is its beauty. It looks as pretty as a live action trailer of Assassin's Creed and works great too. With the release of next-gen, Ubisoft can now add crowds of people to the game in comparison to the crowds of Dead Rising.
While the Co-Op video didnt showcase anything differe…Read more >

IGN are currently taking in votes as to what the top ten video games of the seventh console generation are. The voting on IGN can be done here. Voting can be done until the fourth of June, so do it while you can.
Once you've voted on the IGN article, I encourage you to put your votes in the comments section below! We might even be able to compile the votes and determine what the wiki feels the best games of the last generation were. Hint hint, wink wink, staff members.
Just make sure that you only list games that are on the IGN list as well. There's no point in listing games that aren't there, and pro…Read more >
Hello. Master Kenway here.
First, I'd like to thank everyone for helping me become a socially responisble contributor to the wiki. Your guidance and patience (especially that of the admins) was most welcomed as I started to come here more and more often.
But enough of that. I have a question for all of you.
I was looking for a good way to waste time on the internet yesterday. Naturally, meme-searching was high on the list. In my search, I found several nuggets of wisdom hidden away in those memes; invaluable lessons that have been taught to us by Ubisoft. (Things like: You can kill as many guards as you want. Just rip down three posters for your arrest, and everyone forgets about the killings.) Fun stuff like that.
So, it begs the question.…Read more >

I played ac3 multiplayer it sucked felt lazy and Stiff as hell no real way to fight all stealth or stalking and a lazy pass (I know the uplay is being phased out) which you have to pay money for and the multiplayer could have been more redeemable if it had naval or a mode with the fleet fighting vs your friends as the Ai pose no threat at all. It also bad because it takes away from the story. This can be fixed by having a different company or section of Ubisoft work on it separately. Lastly in the end there is really no need to play ac4 multiplayer its 100% optional which is sad considering the ship mechanics could be implemented into multiplayer I hope they improve multiplayer phase it out or make a multiplayer only title. bottom line mul…Read more >

After a few months in doubt and uncertainty, a change of screenwriters and rumors about the possibility that Swedish Daniel Espinosa could direct, actor Michael Fassbender, attached to the project as producer and main actor has announced that Australian Justin Kurzel will be the one to give life to our beloved franchise. While I always expected that a renowned director would be hired, I have to admit I'm quite happy with that choice. Why? Well, to begin with, this is not the first time that Fassbender and Kurzel work together. They actually finished the principal photography of their adaptation of William Shakespear's Macbeth in which Fassbender portrays the homonymous character. Add to this that Kurzel is an awarded filmmaker in his countr…Read more >

Hai. I'm pretty new here to this wiki, and as you can see I've created just one fanon, you can view it here, ACFanon:James Smith. Personally, I kinda think It's pretty bad, 'cause the storyline is pretty messed up to me. But back on topic, I know a lot of Assassin's Creed fans would like to create their own Assassin, and probably put it in game as a skin, or anything like that. So, If anybody has been wondering this as well, what if...Ubisoft, made a Assassin's Creed character customizer? What If they could make him/her a Templar or a Assassin, make their own storyline, weapons, and abilities, and make their own ancestors? To me, that would of been epicly awesome. To all those who care, here are my thoughts on what will be happening within the series.
Obviously, there are multiple timelines that are possible for the series to continue on, many people like to theorise what could come next. I believe, we've already been told, or given clues. For example in Assassin's Creed II, 'The Sanctuary' (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Sanctuary) /held the armour of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, but it also had statues of other very important assassin's too.
From left to right, the statues represent, Qulan Gal, Darius,Wei Yu, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Amunet, Iltani and Leonius. Given that Altaïr has been the main protagonist in 3 games and made appearences in 2, it is a possibility Ubisoft probably won't make another game f…Read more >

About character size, in the Alpha phase of ACIII
Connor was slim, maybe this is just a rough model and the developers don't want to reveal now an identity that we can easily identify.
The non numbered title it could br referred to a sequel of a known Assassin.
Alsso, the color of the outfit in the culture of the Assassin Sect actually existed refers to the Mentor status (see Altair white and Al Mualim black, Ezio novice white but then dark colours in Revelations) so that Assassin in the video could be Connor as a Assassin Leader or with The Mentor status.
But the very unusual detail is the pocket watch of the character: Connor's profile looks inspired by the history of Alexander McGillisvray, a man of half native half scottish, one …Read more >
