The story is on par with Black Flag, not amazing, but good enough. What really shines here though is the improvements Ubisfot has made. The combat is now an actual challenge and you can't just jump in a place with 100 guards hoping to survive, the feeling of being overpowered has been removed but that doesn't make the game worse,in fact it makes you feel more like an assassin, you're not just …Read more >
Has anyone seen the new AC: Rogue walkthrough? It reveals many important details for Unity as well.
- Charles Dorian was Arno's father, killed by Shay at the end of Rogue.
- Shay does not die during Rogue, instead he retires, much like Achilles.
- George Monro brought Shay into the order.

Every one has their favourite Assassin. Mine is Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. Yours could be the 11th Century Assassin from Masyaf, Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. Or is it the Florentine nobleman from the 15th Century Ezio Auditore da Firenze?. Or could it be the young Native/Europen Assassin from the 17th Century Connor Kenway?. Could it be the brave Pirate who soon joined the Assassin Order in the 16th Century Edward Kenway?. Or is it Edward's compain Adewale?. Or Aveline de Grandpre?. Or is it Arno Dorian or Nikolia?. Or are you a fan of the traitor Shay Cormac?. Discuss you're faveourite moments these Assassins have preformed. I for one respect Altair for facing his own Mentor Al Mualiem. 1) rain confirmed. i didnt know weather can change mid mission but apparently it can. at least rain and clouds that cast nice shadows on paris.
2) Rifles take the place of the melee weapon and are used as a blunt weapon. a very lethal one that can take out enemies in 1 or 2 hits sometimes.
3) In case of a blunt weapon like the rifle enemies who are down are not necessarily dead. they lie there incapacitated. you can finish them off with the HB.
4) It seems like enemies can follow you deep into buildings. not sure if this is realistic. we can see the player on the second floor of a building and when he kills attackers indoors once they die there is a "last known position" silhouette left where arno is standing. not sure if the way enemies know…Read more >

Hola, ladies and gents! It's been quite a while since I've done one of these things. I don't know if a lot of you saw, but I put up a poll on my userpage a while back asking if it would be a good idea to post a poll every month, and apparently some of you said you'd like it.
What have you all been up to recently? I've been playing through the entire Assassin's Creed series (except the first one) to 100% completion, and I am currently slogging through Assassin's Creed III. I'm pretty close to completing it; I'm at 99% synchronisation now, but I have loads of delivery requests to do, and they are just a waste of time, to be honest.
In other news, I should be playing Batman: Arkham Knight right now, but it was delayed until June, unfortunately.

The assassins creed story has been going on since 2007 when the first assassins creed came out with Altiar as the assassin. Then we met Ezio in number 2 and also again 2 other times in brotherhood and revelations. I honesty think they put Ezio in the story too many times really but it is a great story line. And of course we had Connor,Edward, and now almost Arno and Shay. The story has kinda been through diifferent time lines and different places around the world and there will most likely be more. The graphics in all the games has gotten better through time, with black flag currently the best ,in my opinion, in that department but honestly where are they going from here? There making two games a year now and i think there going to fast with…Read more >
Shay,as I stated in my previous post, is an assassin turned templar. But really all we know is the info they gave us. How did he become an assassin in the first place? Who is his parentage? How did he meet Haythem? How did he join the templar order? Did he need training, which would be stupid because he was already an assassin with training, before he got in to the order? Did they not trust him at first because of his assassin past or did they let him in immediatley? All these questions will hopefully be answered in future trailers or when the game comes out on November 11th.:) 02:35, September 22, 2014 (UTC)Read more >
Many people may say that assassins creed rogue is a black flag 2. But there are some differences that make it differ from black flag. The one big one of course is that you are a templar hunting assassins. After a mission goes sour and Shay Patrick Cormac, our main character, is betrayed he goes to the templars looking for redemption and promises to hunt down all the assassins in north america. You also get an air rifle which is a rifle that shoots the same ammunition as a blow pipe in assassins creed black flag which is pretty much the same thing only the air gun can go farther. Since Shay is not a pirate his motives will be different. He probably wont spend as much time looking for money considering he has plenty of it since the templars …Read more >
It seems from AC2 onwards, we are getting more ranged weapons, weapons that require less thinking to use on our part.
I miss AC2's poison blade basically. I just did a contract where I had to kill the target without being seen, however he also has guards following him. To get to him I actually USED social stealth. I blended in with a crowd that took me right by him, gave him a dose of poison as for people to still not see and then carried on with the crowd. He died and everyone was left confused.
Now lets take that scenario and apply it to other games where ranged weapons are in the poison blade isn't:
1. Poison Darts (ACB, ACR, AC4) 2. Crossbow (ACB, ACR) 3. Bow and Arrow (AC3)
Having these ranged weapons changes the ballgame and your approac…Read more >

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Stephane Chapheau considering how he's discussed France's state with Connor, and how he wants to return someday. Perhaps the French Revolution could be that return? He doesn't necessarily need to be apart of the main story, maybe some side missions like liberating parts of France or maybe even that American Prisoner DLC?
We can see him in the streets yelling with the Citizens about injustice, tyranny, and other stuff. He could interact with Arno telling him about his battles in America with Connor and how he offered him to come but Connor was "Too Busy" or something.
By this, we can get a Connor mention, and what he's been up to since AC3.
What do you guys think? Would you be game to see Stephane?Read more >

Do you think you get voted into it, do you think you achieve the rank by achieving better skills and by how much you have done for the order, do you think members are chosen by the council itself?
With what the Assassin order stands for, you'd think it might be by a democracy, but the Assassin Brotherhood has traditionally been operated by more of a dictatorship that is passed down from Mentor to Mentor (another irony and contradiction in the Assassin's Creed) in the individual sections of the Brotherhood (with the modern day only have the single Mentor over all, and he was practically worshiped), and the way the French Brotherhood operates is new and unique to the way the Brotherhood as operated in the past.
It's very curious, and do you th…Read more >
The world of Assassin's Creed is so cool because it spans the whole of the globe and the whole of history. There are so many stories to tell about Assassins and Templars from so many different historical settings.
Ubisoft recently released Assassin's Creed: Memories which is an ok game. The game is mediocre in my opinion but what's really cool about it is that it has introduced a few new Assassins from entirely new periods.
William of Cassingham and Robert Fitzwalter from medieval England Hattori Hanzo from Japan's Sengoku period And I'm sure there are many more to come.
The problem with Memories is that whilst it has introduced some new Assassins to us, it's quite limited in terms of telling us about the lives of these characters. …Read more >

'Though I have no side of the war in Palestine/Israel, I believe that this is the perfect time for a reformation of the Assassin Order. And with this I see an amazing game idea that could either make or break Ubisoft and the Assassin's Creed franchise. We could even go back to Masyaf since Syria is directly above the Palestinian geographical region.
'The game could go 10-20 years in the future but say the war is still going on, and syria is now a major part siding with Palestine (Or Israel). Someone has purchased Masyaf castle and is using it to reform the Assassins. Ex-military and Palestinian civilians are coming to Masyaf for training in guerilla warfare. So obviously the Assassin's now know how to kill someone with a blade, and they com…Read more >
After months of rumours related to Assassin's Creed: Comet, and most recently Assassin's Creed: Rogue, the game has finally been confirmed. The ideas I will present are not very in depth though they are meant to incite fan discussio…Read more >
Hey guys. lately I've been watching the interviews for AC unity and I came across something I don't like. One of the developers revealed that the classic white rooms will be taken from the next game. let me be the first to say that I hate this! I loved the white rooms because both the assassin and his or her target could confess and connect on a certain level. For me this humanized the Templars and assassins both. Instead a new mechanic will take its place. the developer explained it as the targets life flashing through their eyes right before the blade hits. This will be used instead of the target confessing info or the assassins finding a letter or document on the body. Unity seams like its breaking a lot of AC traditions. In some ways i…Read more >
So thanks to BBC iPlayer, I watched ', Jason Reitman's critically-acclaimed 2009 comedy-drama, which Jeffrey Yohalem cited as an influence on the script for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
At first the stories appear to be poles apart: ACB is about a Master Assassin bringing about the fall of the Borgia Papacy, while Up in the Air is about a bloke sent by a firm to fire people on behalf of bosses too cowardly to sack their own employees. That bloke is portrayed by , who like Ezio, famously possesses a Golden Age Hollywood charm despite getting on in years (and he even portrayed Batman, one of the inspirations for Ezio, in the infamous Batman and Robin).
However, both stories about men too clearly stuck in the comfort and luxuries their dirty jobs…Read more >

Hey fellow Assassins here I wanted to talk about the combat in Assassin's Creed and things Ubisoft should consider bringing back to their next game.(as they no doubt finished working on AC:U)
This skill is what made the enemies in the game actually dangerous which is not prevalent description of enemies in future games. This skill did not allow the player to stand idle and just hold the action button as higher level enemies, such as templars or captains, can break your defense and get a free hit on you unless you dodge. This free hit usually follows up with a heavy attack then a punch in the face, which would take the player health down a tremendous amount if not proficient in combat. This skill is also provided to the player and is great i…

Throughout the assassins creed franchise, the story has always went the same basic route of putting you in the shoes of an assassin slaying the corrupt Templars one by one. yet this whole time Ubisoft has clung to the idea that both the assassins and Templars both mean well and are both good and bad in different ways, in my view though the assassins are easily given the title of the good guys. but this isn't what ubisoft had in mind.
We are supposed to be questioning ourselves constantly what side we think is right........... but we don't. I mean who honestly thinks the Templar personalities are more righteous or better than the assassins? anyone? what we need is the unthinkable.

Since the separate wiki now exists, we will start moving all fanons there (after all, that was the reason it was created). Because of that, you are discouraged from creating new fanon articles on this wiki, since it would leave us with even more work than it already is. WIth all of the school shootings that are happening today, parents blame them on violent video games like AC, but no one kills a person because of AC. Most of those shootings are because of mental issues. Us teens are smart enough to know that video games are not real, but still cool. Yet parents have tried so much to stop violent video games. My mom use to have a rule: no killing people and no blood in games. I feel that parents think we will just go killing people because we saw it on tv. Good thing parents haven't banned violent video games altogether. In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio goes to Asia to find more answers about Altair. When he finds the Assassins, they introduce him to the Hook Blade. The Hook Blade can trip enemies that are running, grab on to ledges, attach onto ziplines, and hook onto lanterns to swing through the city. But it can also stab people just like a regular hidden blade. With such an ingenious device, why was it not there in AC3 and AC4? Did t…

When we first met Leonardo da Vinci in number two, Ezio thought of him as a friend of his mom's. Then, when Ezio became an Assassin, he relied on Leonardo more and more, making them two close friends throughout number 2 and Brotherhood. The last you see of him is when he sells you supplies to climb better in Brotherhood. But in Revelations, you do not see him at all. Leonardo died on May 2, 1519, so historically, he was still alive during the time period of Revelations. But yet not a mention of his name, what happened? It's like they totally erased him from the game. I know Ezio was in a different place, but he didn't even speak of him. Ubisoft should have at least mentioned Leonardo in Revelations because he was so important in number 2 a…Read more >
Well both games are quite similar but I thing AC IV is more difficult I really like the soldier variations they are the same in both games-the musketeer (which shoots you from a distance but is weak as ****ing **** when you come near him), the brute/headbutter (everyone hates this guy), the Officer/Captain (same as the headbutter but also has a gun) and the "Poor guy we Air-Assassinate". What i like about BF but not about III is the number of ammo we can carry in our pouch-in BF you can carry 20 bullets (cartridges) and also a large number (10?) of darts and bombs. In III however you only have 8 bullets, 8 arrows, 3 bombs, 5 rope darts---THE BEST WEAPON EVER, and 5 other darts (i think).
