The Blighters were a Templar-controlled gang in London during the 19th century. Led by Maxwell Roth and his seven lieutenants, each supervising one of London boroughs, the gang was the rival of the Assassin-affiliated syndicate, the Rooks.
They originated in Westminster's worst slum, Devil's Acre, and quickly spread across the city.
Following the rise to power of the Frye twins and the defeat of the Londonian Templars, the Blighters were crippled. However by 1872, remnants of the gang were still active and obeying Templar orders.
