Redirected from Assassin's Creed: Revelations Multiplayer weapons

Added by BurnardxThis page contains a list of weapons that were exclusive to the Animi Avatars contained within the multiplayer section of Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
In the multiplayer of Revelations, there were two types of weapons, titled "main" and "secondary." Secondary weapons were used when an Animi Avatar performed a kill with a Silent or Incognito bonus, while main weapons were used for kills that were below Silent, when performing an kill from above, and when attacking a haybale.
For each character, they had one main weapon that they were experienced in using, referred within as their "specialty weapon."

Secondary weapons
Edit
There were three secondary weapons available to the Animi Avatars, with the exception being the Knight, the Courtesan, the Ottoman Jester and the Ottoman Doctor.
All three secondary weapons were designed to be quickly thrusted into a target's internal organs or jugular, killing them quietly and allowing a participant more time to react afterwards.
Hidden Blade
Edit
The Hidden Blade is the default secondary weapon used by the Animi Avatars, available to all. It functions similarly to the Assassins' Hidden Blade, however, it differs in that it folds in on itself twice.
Pike
Edit
After reaching Level 20 in the Animi Training Program, all Animi Avatars could use a Pike for a cost of 30 Abstergo Credits. The Pike looked very similar to an ice pick, as it was shorter and thinner than a dagger.
Katar
Edit
The Katar became available after completing the fifth prestige loop in the Animi Training Program. It was a short blade which could be held in the hand, with the blade resting on the knuckles of the user, similar to a push dagger.
Main weapons
Edit
There were 7 main weapons, though each Animi Avatar had three that they could wield, which were used for kills that were below Silent on the Approach Meter.
Each Animi Avatar had a basic version of three weapons, two of which that could be bought with a personal design, and two specialty weapons (their icons displayed in gold) that were aesthetically unique and offered two different animations.
Long Katar
Edit
The Long Katar was based on an Indian weapon and functioned like a combination of a sword and the Hidden Blade of the Assassins, as it was capable of inflicting deep puncture wounds on anyone unfortunate to meet its edge.
Since it was designed to sit above the user's knuckles, the weapon benefited from the force of a punch, enabling it to be inserted further within the user's intended victim.
The Long Katar could be used by a number of Avatars:
Sentinel's Long Katar
Edit
The Sentinel had two personal Long Katars as his specialty weapon, numbered "01" and "02". His Long Katar 01 was much like the basic Long Katar given to Animi Avatars, with the only alteration being that the sides of the handle curved towards the blade.
For his Long Katar 02, the curved sides of his first Long Katar were removed, featuring two small metal spikes on the handle in its place. In addition to this, between these small spikes and the blade, there were two smaller blades reaching to half the length of the main blade.
With his two personal Long Katars, the Sentinel could perform his two unique animations.
Vizier's Long Katar
Edit
The Vizier could use one personal Long Katar, though it was not his specialty weapon. It differed in material from the basic Katar in that it appeared to be made from a silvery metal, as opposed to the darker metal used for the basic Long Katar. The blade was a lot wider than the basic one, being triangular in shape, and had a pattern engraved down the center.
Bombardier's Long Katar
Edit
The Bombardier also had one personal Long Katar, which had a wide blade, spanning the entire width of the handle. The back of his Long Katar also had a large guard, designed to protect the Bombardier's hand and wrist.
Count's Long Katar
Edit
The Count's personal Long Katar had a wide cross-guard, that edged outwards and down, ending in a point on either side. The blade was more vicious than other Long Katars, as triangular sections jutted out towards the end of the blade.
Renegade's Long Katar
Edit
The Renegade's personal Long Katar was different from other Long Katar designs in that the handle had more open space to it, leaving a large amount of room for the Renegade to move his hands.
The blade also had a barbed design, with four sections cut out of the blade, producing three barbs that would cause extra damage on the Long Katar's removal.
Crusader's Long Katar
Edit
The Crusader's personal Long Katar displayed a more ornamental design, with the wrist guards adjacent to the handle being made of a white material, presumably ivory.
At the top of the blade lay a decorative hilt, inlaid with gold, while the blade was thinner than most of the other Long Katars, matching closely with those of the Sentinel's.
Dagger
Edit
The basic Dagger that was available to a number of Animi Avatars had a dulled silver pommel and handle, with the blade curving outwards slightly, and then back inwards to create the tip.
Sentinel's Dagger
Edit
For the Sentinel's personal Dagger, it had the same color, pommel and handle as the basic dagger. However, the blade curved in a much wider arch, giving it an overall different appearance.
Vanguard's Dagger
Edit
The Vanguard's Dagger had a simple handle and no obvious pommel, with the blade's design appearing similar to that of a combat knife.
Displaying a straight blade until close to the point, the dagger curved in to create a tip on both sides, though the curved ends were not of the same length.
Trickster's Dagger
Edit
The Trickster had two personal Daggers as her specialty weapon, numbered "01" and "02". Her Dagger 01 was similar to the basic dagger, as it followed the same curvature and shape, though it was much thinner and lithe. The pommel and handle followed the same design as the basic dagger.
For the Trickster's Dagger 02, the handle and pommel also seemed to barely change from the basic design. However, the blade was wider and stockier than both her first personal dagger and the basic design, as well as coming to a point off center from the handle, creating a slightly larger arch. Accompanying this, there was a red sash around the handle, giving it a slight design.
Thespian's Dagger
Edit
The Thespian also had two personal Daggers as her specialty weapon, numbered "01" and "02". Her Dagger 01 differed greatly from the basic design, with the pommel and hilt guard sporting a golden color. The blade was also wider and was mainly straight, before curving to a point.
For the Thespian's Dagger 02, it showed a similar appearance to her Dagger 01, though the pommel was a spherical shape, and the hilt guard was slightly wider. The blade was also similar to her first personal dagger, now black in color, with two small barbs being placed just after the base on the outwards curving side, in order to create deadly wounds.
Deacon's Dagger
Edit
The Deacon's Dagger differed greatly from the basic dagger, displaying a thin wooden handle with a small spherical pommel and a long, thin cross-guard.
Naturally, the blade was thin, narrowing as it reached its point. Overall, the dagger would usually be designed for stabbing, instead of slashing.
Renegade's Dagger
Edit
The Renegade's Dagger had an appearance similar to the design of his first personal spear, such as the curvature of the blade and the sections that were missing. It was a silver color, with the inwards curving edge of the blade having three barbs, allowing for more deadly injuries.
Long Sword
Edit
The Long Sword had a straight blade, similar to the basic swords used throughout the Crusades. It had a simple cross-guard that ended with a slight "bump" on each side, and could be said to be a poor copy of the eagle's beak that showed on the swords of the Assassins.
Sentinel's Long Sword
Edit
The Sentinel's Long Sword had a few differences from the basic Long Sword. The handle was longer and the pommel finished in more of a conical shape, though the cross-guard did not differ from the basic version.
Also, the blade was almost the same as the basic sword, though one edge of the sword ran a straight edge right to the point, while the other edge ran straight until the last few inches, where it curved slightly to meet with the straight edge.
Guardian's Long Sword
Edit
The Guardian's personal Long Sword differed drastically from the basic Long Sword. The pommel was a rather bulbous lump of metal and the handle was long enough to allow two hands to wield the sword.
The cross-guard was ovular, and there were loops around the handle and blade at about a two inch width. The blade was also wider and thicker than the basic Long Sword.
Further down the blade, the straight edge seemed blunt due to its thickness, and towards the end, one edge curved out into a sharp barb, before moving back in to meet the other edge. At the same moment, the cutting edge of the blade curved in at the tip, joining the edges with an inward curve to meet into a deadly point.
Champion's Long Sword
Edit
The Champion's personal Long Sword was similar to the basic Long Sword, though the pommel did differ slightly with the material it was made of, and the handle was squared at the edges.
The cross-guard was also slightly longer and wider, with the blade itself being quite the same as the basic Long Sword, although it was shorter and had a wider blade.
Deacon's Long Sword
Edit
The Deacon had two personal Long Swords as his specialty weapon, numbered "01" and "02". His Long Sword 01 was similar to the basic Long Sword, though the sword's pommel had a more spherical shape. The handle and cross-guard were crimson, and the cross-guard arched towards the blade, while the blade itself possessed a slight curvature to it.
The Deacon's Long Sword 02 shared a great deal of similarity to the Syrian Sabre. While there was no clear pommel to the sword, there was a hand-guard that ran across the knuckles, and opposite to the hand-guard there was a slight cross-guard to protect the thumb. The blade also had a gentle curve to it that got more predominate towards the point of the blade.
The color of the blade was silver, but the handle, hand-guard and cross-guard were all gold, as well as one edge of the blade having a gold tint running down to the middle of it.
Bombardier's Long Sword
Edit
The Bombardier's personal Long Sword had a silver color, and the pommel curved out from the hilt-guard. Also, from the hilt, the blade curved in the opposite direction, giving it a devastating edge to slash with. As well as this, the hilt curved in a similar manner to the sword, though on an opposite axis.
Crusader's Long Sword
Edit
The Crusader had two personal Long Swords as his specialty weapon, numbered "01" and "02". The first ('01') had a gold ball-like pommel and the handle wrapped in a black material. The cross-guard curved outwards. The blade started in line with the handle, before closing into the center, it then gradually started to re-widen before closing again to make a point. The sword was not very decorative and the blade a simple silver color.
The Second personalized Long Sword ('02'), had the same golden pommel and the same style of handle, although the material wrap allowed for more grip. The cross-guard no longer curved forward. The blade started in line with the handle, before taking a sharp edge outwards, and then continuing down that line towards the end of the blade, where it closed in to make a point.
Sword
Edit
The sword, was shorter than the long sword. The sword was used by the Animi Avatars to deliver lethal thrusts, and tended to not be used to slice. The basic design had a simple silver pommel. The handle adorned a hand grip, with a simple silver cross-guard. The blade had straight edges that met towards the end of the blade, making a point.
Vanguard's Sword
Edit
The Vanguard's personal sword had a curved design. The pommel was a simple silver, and the handle had a slight curve from the pommel to the cross-guard, the cross-guard bent forward and curved towards the blade. The blade had straight edges, finishing to a point.
Vizier's Sword
Edit
The Vizier had two personal designs. The first ('01') had a simple pommel, hand grip and cross-guard. The blade appeared to be made from wood, with three pieces of metal on each side. The first and second being a diamond shape, and third being the last third of the blade ending in a point.
The second design ('02') had a very similar simple pommel, hand grip and cross-guard. The blade, like the first design, was made primarily from wood. There were less metal designs on the blade, with a small metal design near the hilt, and another small metal design halfway along the blade. The last quarter had a metal covering and finished to a point. This sword was slightly longer and thinner than the first design.
Trickster's Sword
Edit
The Trickster's personal sword had a subtle pommel and cross-guard. The blade had a 'clip' cut out of the blade just after the hint and both edges were straight, save one which, towards the end of the blade, curved inwards to meet the other edge.
Thespian's Sword
Edit
The Thespian's sword had a decorative pommel, hand grip and cross-guard made with a golden color. The cross-guard was small and curved back towards the hand. The blade started off rather thin, and then quickly widened. From that, the blade then ran with straight edges until it closed to form a point.
Deacon's Sword
Edit
The Deacon's personal sword had a slight 'meat cleaver' feel to it. The handle was simple, and the pommel was subtle. There was no obvious cross-guard. The blade was wider than the handle, and on one side there was an 'overhang', it was on this same side, than the edge appeared to be fine, and could be used for slicing. The same edge slowly moved back into an alignment with the handle, and along with the other edge, which was straight, meet to make a point.
Corsair's Sword
Edit
The Corsair had two versions of the sword. The first sword had a short handle and an s-formed blade.
The other one was the same as the first, except that this one had a hand guard.
Sledge Hammer
Edit
The regular sledgehammer was a long staff with a heavy ball-like end. The mace was light enough to wield with one hand.
Count's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The first sledge hammer was an axe with four blades in a circle to make it a mace.
The second one is an extension of the first with more blades.
Bombardier's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The Bombardier had two personal designs. The first was colored gold and had an old look to it. The ball was without edges since the Bombardier preferred to use a forced smash instead of a cut.
The other sledge hammer was almost like the first. The only difference was that the ball was stretched.
Guardian's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The Guardian's sledge hammer had an iron-ball at the end, and on the ball there were smaller half-balls around on the big one.
Champion's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The Champion's sledge hammer had a hammer head at the end, making it a warhammer.
Gladiator's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The Gladiator had an old Roman look to it. The end was a stretched ball with Roman pictures on it. The ball form also had a bell-shape.
Crusader's Sledge Hammer
Edit
The Crusader wielded a sledge hammer which ended in a stone-cross.
Spear
Edit
Small Axe
Edit
Other weapons
Edit
There were four weapons which were unique to certain Animi Avatars. However, the ones that wielded these weapons were non-customizable. This meant that it was the only weapon that they could use, while no other Animi Avatar could use their weapon.
The ones with these specific weapons were Animi Avatars that had to be obtained through certain conditions, such as pre-ordering them or purchasing The Lost Archive DLC. However, the Crusader was an exception to this rule, as he was a pre-order character that was customizable.
Bladed syringe
Edit
The Bladed syringe was used by Seraffo, the Ottoman Doctor.
It could be used to deliver a dose of mercury solution from up close, as well as inflict deep puncture wounds on a target. Unlike his Roman counterpart Malfatto's syringe, Seraffo's syringe had a blade attachment which allowed him to stab and slash them as well as inject them with poison. The handle of the Bladed Syringe formed the shape of a cross, the symbol of the Templars.
Fan
Edit
The Fan was the weapon of Fabiola Cavazza, the Courtesan.
On the surface, it resembled an ordinary fan, commonly used by noblewomen in the Renaissance. In the Courtesan's hands, however, the Fan was a beautiful martial arts weapon, which could cause deadly harm with the grace of a dance.
Constructed with thirteen metal slats that contracted to expose a series of sharp blades when opened, as well as show a Templar cross, these added blades were used to lacerate limbs, inflict deep flesh wounds, and shred the necks of victims.
Greatsword
Edit
The Greatsword was the weapon of Scevola Spina, the Knight.
The sword drew down to a pointed tip and had an asymmetrical hilt, possessing a close visual resemblance to an Estoc. In some instances, it was also described as "titanic".
Being a heavily weighted sword, the greatsword could cause deep wounds on its target, as well as being able to break bones with a forceful swing.
Khanjar Dagger
Edit
The Khanjar Dagger was the personal weapon of Dulcamara, the Ottoman Jester.
The weapon had a similar design to the rondel daggers used by Cahin, the Harlequin. Constructed as a thin dagger with a loop at end of the hilt, the khanjar dagger allowed for Dulcamara to sheath it at his waist.
As a small and light weapon, it allowed him to use it to quickly and effectively eliminate his targets.
